The vinyl's B-side, "6 Points", was co-produced by Prizma and fellow Too Much Collective resident @therealmuhla, and features vocals from Swindon star @grimsickersmusic and lesser-spotted Lewisham MC @officialkozzie – who returns here for his first new track in over two years. The track sees the two spitters deliver their signature flows over haunting vocal cuts, suspenseful strings, and a bass so deep and guttural it's guaranteed to tear up sound systems in the imminent future.

Bristol's XOX (@xox_bristol) first made their mark musically in 2018, but the duo are far from beginners. The wifey riddim production powerhouse is in fact a new side project from Sepia — an acclaimed dubstep artist — alongside Arthur of Sheffield production trio Wölfe, best known for their UK funky output. Now with a strong back catalogue under their belt, including a feature on Pearly Whites' latest compilation, they're gearing up to drop their self-titled debut EP 'XOX' – conveniently slated for a Valentine's Day release.

On the second of the project's three tracks, "On My Mind" — now available to stream exclusively above — the Isley Brothers' 2003 classic "What Would You Do?" is meticulously chopped and transformed into a blissful slice of R&G perfection, complete with giddying pitch bends and luscious guitar licks.

Bristol-based label Italdred (@italdredrecords) is soon to be releasing a new compilation, 'Inflorescence'. Although there are stylistic themes that run across all eleven tracks, the range included remains diverse and challenging, pushing experimental sound forward with powerful results. 

Ahead of the compilation dropping on 28 June, you can listen to "Far Fetched" by rising Bristol producer Namaste (@namaste_uk) below. It's a high-energy mixture of dancing metallic chords, rolling bass, and a clean rhythm. The undeniable and aggressive drill-style bassline is offset by syrupy synth chords that deepen the build-up – only to drop hard with ringing chimes and sharp, snapping snares.

Simply Deep can be counted on to bring the heat with the artists they select. Now, its Dunman's turn to carry on that trend with the imminent arrival of his '99 Basslines' EP.

A co-founder of the ESC_ imprint with releases on In:flux Audio, Southpoint, Project Allout Records, 1Forty, Reloaded Sounds and more, Dunman’s no stranger to pushing the boundaries, embracing wide-ranging styles and sounds from the 140 spectrum. Listening to the '99 Basslines' EP gives you snapshots of his tastes, including elements of chugging, iron-clad dubstep, zoned-out atmospheric wave, sweet and silky-smooth R&G, and, of course, a heaped serving of powerhouse grime settings.

Adding the talents of MCs Deeks & Rame to Dunman's "War Fi Dem", which features on the EP in its own right, results in the brief but concentrated “Mad”. Their compact 16-bar flows lay over a warry beat that switches between growling, screw-face bass and the jerking rhythms of a swifter grime bouncer. “Mad” showcases another angle to an already formidable instrumental as the mic-men pass the vocals back and forth between them, infusing the track with the live organic energy that gives grime its undeniable potency.
