Bouncey time

Twelve Clouds is the alias of Belgian DJ, producer and composer, Maxime van Roey. A serious all-rounder and a seriously gifted musician, van Roey is indicative of a new generation for whom a dedication to electronic music is very much a life calling. After years of studio perseverance, he’s beginning to get his break too. Aside from repping respected outlets such as Purism, Daydream, Hoary (where he just released on a killer VA featuring the likes of Jorge Savoretti, Djebali and Timid Boy), as well as one of our all time favourites, Vibraphone. His latest comes with a firm thumbs up from iO (Mulen), who’s released the quite exceptional Levitate EP via his Slowdy Mowdy label. That one’s already creating quite a stir, so we were more than happy to catch up with Maxime recently to discuss his story so far. Twelve Clouds, Future Stars

For episode 03 we’re going back to the city of Diamonds for a true gemstone: 
Although the Antwerp based Maxime aka Twelve Clouds is fairly new, he is someone who has already created major waves in our scene.   After years of studio solitude, he’s beginning to get his breakthrough in the releasing landscape. Aside from signing respected labels such as Purism, Daydream, Slowdy Mowdy and Hoary, he’s also a booker and creative director for The Sub and runs his own recordlabel called Miracle Juice.

Twelve Clouds is a dynamic and multifaceted artist who epitomizes Belgium's emerging electronic music scene. With his unique sound, he has quickly gained the attention of renowned artists and is making a name for himself as a rising star.

Through years of dedication and perseverance in the studio, Twelve Clouds has emerged as a prominent figure in the electronic music scene. He has been featured on respected labels such as Purism, Daydream, Slowdy Mowdy, and Hoary, where he released alongside industry heavyweights like Jorge Savoretti, Djebali, and Timid Boy. 
With a solid foundation in the club scene and a close affiliation with Zodiak, Twelve Clouds has consistently pushed boundaries and expanded his artistic horizons. A few years ago, he launched his own record label, Miracle Juice, to showcase the music he loves in the continuos evolving landscape of house music.
Twelve Clouds' impressive journey has led him to become a respected figure in today's music scene.

Born and raised in Leuven, 𝙈𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙀𝙠𝙞𝙢 soaked up the essence of house and techno on the dance floors of iconic Belgian institutions like 𝙎𝙞𝙡𝙤 and 𝙁𝙪𝙨𝙚. That early obsession quickly pulled him behind the decks and he never really stepped away.

Over the years, Mike carved out a signature sound that blends the deeper, groovier shades of house and techno. It’s a sound that has taken him to gigs both at home and abroad.

His productions found homes on a range of respected labels, including his own 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨. 
As part of the 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗𝟭𝟬𝟬 agency and the driving force behind 𝙍𝙖𝙪𝙬/𝘾𝙧𝙪, Mike continues to push the culture forward, both as a DJ and a curator.

Born in Portugal and raised with Cape Verdean roots, Rotterdam-based Jorge Spencer brings a deep love for vinyl and a versatile ear for sound. His sets blend house, techno, and deep house into warm, high-energy journeys. He's equally at home in intimate clubs or on festival stages.

A familiar face in the Dutch scene, Jorge has played venues like Toffler, Perron, and Warehouse, and festivals such as Solar, Extrema Outdoor, and Nacht Drift, sharing decks with artists including Benny Rodrigues, Jovonn, and Jeremy Underground.

Jorge stays committed to delivering timeless grooves and unforgettable nights, on or off the decks.

Detash brings the same dedication to the decks as he does to his craft as an arborist: patience, precision, and care. His sets draw from deep, dubby and minimal house, always searching for that hidden thread!

 With a clear and authentic identity, Tiffany is quietly carving her path as an emerging name in the electronic music scene.
