Californian native Taylor Freels has been shaping dancefloors for some time and in a past life under the name Urulu has had quite an impact our community. Having shelved the project momentarily a new alias has sprouted in the form of Liquid Earth. With countless bangers already under his belt Taylor is a core member of many taste making collectives, Butter Side Up, Kalahari Oyster Cult all benefit from his refined dancefloor focused style. Not staying in one place for too long but more than happy to revisit certain time periods in house music but with a revised vigour and wide eyed appreciation for the love that has gone into the original source material. Audio Werner is widely and generally primarily known for his productions and live performances however, Djing came first, he has been collecting and mixing vinyl records since the early nineties. For that reason, it is such a rare occasion for him to have a podcast out that we bring him as part of the Toi.Toi.Musik Mix Series with a 1 hour extract of a Dj Set recorded at our Toi Toi Summer edition of Audio Werner's monthly residency 'Tune In'  at the adored Club Der Visionaere in Berlin.

For this months edition of SWEET DELIGHTS we welcome a long time friend and a wizard behind the turntables. New York's very own but recently relocated to the lovely city of Bucharest in Romania; ZACH G.

Zach G is an artist born and raised in the concrete jungle of New York City. No stranger to the dance floor of the underground scene, he has been absorbing the unique sounds of this city for over a decade. Starting in 2018, he has been running Lessons, a record store, event series and label, with parties in hidden warehouse locations around Brooklyn, and has amassed a unique following of people looking to experience something deeper.

In recent times Zach G has expanded his international reach, with gigs at highly acclaimed parties; Sunwaves Festival (Romania), Toi Toi (London), Resolute (NYC) GuestHouse (Bucharest),

Japanese DJ and producer Kana Hishiya crafts a vibrant and dynamic sound that fuses house, techno, and a wide range of electronic styles. Cadenza EKOES 001 - Guy From Downstairs

For the past 12 months, Lebanese artist and Fantôme de Nuit label founder Nesta has been a constant in the world music scene. Either via his own parties, guest performances around the globe, or his productions littering the finest labels, Nesta has covered a lot of ground. Nesta has of course been a driving force in the Middle East and Europe for much longer than that, with his label running for more than a decade now.

As well as his label, Nesta has also been responsible for throwing some of the finest parties around and for our next InSession edition we find Nesta in charge of the decks at his most recent party. Taking place at Berlin’s Hoppetosse, Nabih has hooked up with close friends of Trommel Melina and Jakob Seidensticker and their We R The Aliens label for a joint trip. In true Nesat fashion, he starts deep and shifts through the gears with ease. Moving through deep house to techier moods, but the magic occurs when he circles back to drop those sweet vocally curve balls that nobody sees coming. A cosmically soulful adventure, if ever there was one, that is the appeal of a Nesta set.
