It's time to flee the town.
The bridge has been burned down.
My only vessel lies within.
My smiles have hid my frowns
all while I've served the clowns
because, to all, I've felt the need to give. 

I've learned that truths believed
are bent to suit the needs
of sensitivities, so I leave to find where I belong.

actualizing... (with Falsestart)

Bit of a mixed bag of styles and genres…
consistently amateur and homemade though… and just for the fun of it!

Half the songs here are just me noodling away on my own… (using garageband on my ipad, headphones, and a couple of cheap old guitars).

…the other half are recorded during very occasional jam sessions with some lovely talented old friends, who bring my song ideas to life, spontaneously, usually one-take, having never heard them before.

Self taught musician whenever I was a bored child. I enjoy playing everything except for reeded/woodwind or the french horn. I do have many solo songs embedded in my collection but anything with parentheses is a collaboration or working with others. The Eclectic Collective, which is often listed after songs, is a tight knit collection of studio musicians spanning the globe. Thank you to all that leave nice comments. My apologies if I take a little while to respond.

I like listening to music, making simple, tunes when I have time, and generally faffing about in an inefficient manner. Hopefully you might like something on offer here. 

I use a Hinkler Cigar Box guitar (about $30 from Aldi, great fun), a Flying V ukulele, a couple of old keyboards, other bits and bobs, and a Yamaha tenor saxophone.

Something homemade and overly-dramatic about silly stuff like PEACE+EARTH+HOUSE CATS+KINDNESS+OCEAN+VOLLEYBALL TEAM.
