Army Of The Dead

One For Sorrow were a hard rock band from Co. Wexford, Ireland. They formed in 2003 when guitarist John Harpur, drummer Paudie Farrell and singer Mick O' Connor, met guitarist James Murphy - ('Byrdz') (pronounced 'Birds') and bass player Graham O' Connor.  - (Replacing previous bass player John Paul Walsh.) ('Spud') 

The five began rehearsing Harpur's songs at their practice space. After completion, came gigs in the local area, and then some recording at Aer Studios Gorey, Co. Wexford, then some recording at a Factory in Dublin that was converted into a studio. An old one of Byrdz's tracks 'Jump' recorded in a garage in an estate in Wexford town was then finally added into the mix. A ten track CD was created.

The band played more gigs including shows in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, USA which were well received. One final set of Wexford gigs followed before the band called it a day in 2009.                                                                                Thank you for listening! (Best experienced through earphones) a Stolen Glow are an outfit from Co. Wexford, Ireland. The group consists of James Murphy - 'Byrdz' [pronounced 'Birds'] (E.S.S. & One For Sorrow), and Alan Davis (E.S.S.) As a studio band the pair worked on a Stolen Glow for over ten years, with James, carefully crafting a blend of home-made rock music, and Alan, carefully focusing on some music, but then cutting his teeth on video animation. Two E.P.'s emerged 2016's 'Just Far Enough Away' and 2019's 'Rough Mixes'. The outfit's  album 'Ten Track Recorder' saw the light of day in 2020, and then the mainly (drop D based guitar tuned) 12 track album '11 Items' was released in the year 2022. Also featured on Lifoti Magazine,‘Metal In Italy’  & ‘Artistic Echoes’ web magazines amongst others , NastiGi returned with “Dude” released 24th October.  Taking influences from Muse, Royal Blood and Skunk Anansie, NastiGi wrote the single for anyone living their life behind a shadow.
Gianluca, the band leader and songwriter, said “Back in 2015, I had been living with the absolute belief that I could never write a whole song by myself.  In 2017, things started taking a different turn for me and I found myself as the one who was responsible for creating new material in my band back then, so I had to find a way.  And, by 2018, I couldn’t believe I actually amassed enough material to release the whole album.  Well, my self-confidence grew stronger each day, so I kept going! Today, it feels natural and so cool!”
NastiGi had three record-deal offers (iCottage Records, Cave music, and PA74music) during last year but still looking for THE right one to come.
Gianluca said “I believe that is only a matter of time until we get picked up by a major music industry label and see our music on the Billboard Hot 100”.

So, what's with the band's name? We chose The Purple Sound Barrier mainly because that was the name of our band in 7th grade. The Purple Sound Barrier is and was:
