Army Of The Dead

I am a singer songwriter producer from the North West in the  UK.....I love Jazz and Soul...in fact  all music brings me joy!, My music has had mainstream play on The BBC music app  on The Sun Lounge  show with Adam Dunning and BBC introducing  in Manchester with “ Roesh”  Jazz FM Curved Radio in Australia  and  KJazz radio UK . One For Sorrow were a hard rock band from Co. Wexford, Ireland. They formed in 2003 when guitarist John Harpur, drummer Paudie Farrell and singer Mick O' Connor, met guitarist James Murphy - ('Byrdz') (pronounced 'Birds') and bass player Graham O' Connor.  - (Replacing previous bass player John Paul Walsh.) ('Spud') 

The five began rehearsing Harpur's songs at their practice space. After completion, came gigs in the local area, and then some recording at Aer Studios Gorey, Co. Wexford, then some recording at a Factory in Dublin that was converted into a studio. An old one of Byrdz's tracks 'Jump' recorded in a garage in an estate in Wexford town was then finally added into the mix. A ten track CD was created.

The band played more gigs including shows in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, USA which were well received. One final set of Wexford gigs followed before the band called it a day in 2009.                                                                                Thank you for listening! You are facing the music from a music -nerd, -lover, -autodidact, -amateur (means lover :) ) and software engineer, who has actively listened to music for decades. I heard Led Zeppelin II, Paranoid, Aretha Now and Santana III, when they were released. 
Creativity is in my genes. I experience that Software, music, humour and drawing all are nourished by creativity.
My most active listener is me, myself, I :) … But be my guest.. I have a job and I don’t rely on making money by making music.
I like most genres, but when it gets trivial, I’m out! 
 I like Hard Rock, Fusion, Salsa, Reggae, Soul, Funk, Latin, Prog, Folk, World, Ambient, Ballads, Pop, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Country, Blue Grass, Classic, etc.
If it is hard it has to be hard for a reason. Please no sampled repetition, it hurts my brain :D !

As much as I love making music, I'm also a fan of so many of you here on Soundcloud. This page is a mix-tape dedicated to all your amazing work. I'll be listening closely with cat's ears.
