Blame the Youth is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina and includes the talents of a lead vocalist/guitarist (Phoebe), lead guitarist (Alexa), drummer (Kynadi), and bassist/backing vocals (Amber). In their music, they talk about the norm and the taboo, and they explore them in ways that will intrigue your ears and make you crave more.
They recently released their second single, Oasis, via Bandcamp and Soundcloud. Their debut EP, The Hourglass, was released March 6, 2017. They’ve also got a list of covers in heavy rotation for whatever event presents an opportunity for a performance.

OnQ is a 501c3 arts organization based in Charlotte, NC, dedicated to educating and producing, classic, contemporary, and original performance works that reflect the black experience.

Eleazar has been involved in music his entire life. He began studying piano at the age of six and performing under the tutelage of world-renowned pianist Linda Genteel, at age ten. Tyrone, his brother, and he, both studied under jazz organist Radam Schwartz, where they began extensive training in hard bop & post-bop eras.  The Shafer brothers continued shedding and gigging, later developing a close apprenticeship with the legendary Shirley Scott. The brothers played under her guidance until she passed in 2002.
Eleazar’s aggressive and fiery approach to music has earned him the ear of critics. His relentlessly-attacking playing style is classic hip-hop infused bop with a heavy rock influence. Eleazar is currently working on his debut project “My Fair Lady” which will be released summer 2013. Ida Divine has flourished into one of the most apt, and exquisite Independent Artist in her genre. She is that oddity that can deliver the Motown style of song without missing a pitch. Her voice is intense and sultry, and when those lyrics are set free during performances or even a practice session, she seduces the hearts and minds of any listener that takes an interest in her.

IDA has hit singles such as “Grow Up,” “Time,”  “IG My Shoe Game” and “Sometimes” just to name a few ; these singles have traveled worldwide to California, New York, Philadelphia, Georgia, Miami, Virginia, Chicago, Nairobi, Ghana, Nigeria, Toronto, Australia, Paris and Poland. Ida Divine’s following compare her style and delivery to the Multi Grammy Award Winner Lauryn Hill. In my opinion, there is no comparison to another artist or lyricist. With her project “Molecular Legato”, her statement is clear, and she is just a creative damsel that’s stressing the message of artistic freedom. Ida’s humble, and peaceful nature is a great deal like “Razia Sultana”. When you combine those two strong qualities with her bravura, lyrical expression, in addition to her slayer-stage presence; you already know that she is the definition of artistry ascended, and has created a new trend of evolutionary-soul.
