AKVA is a DJ Duo from Hamburg/Germany, originated in the Pooca Bar and brought Pooca Wednesday into life. The two girls Kati&Vanessa stand for powerful techno with gloomy synths and proper stomp. If you‘ve ever danced to their music, you know the sweat is dripping from the ceiling. In the last seven years, the two have already performed beyond the Hamburg borders for example in Netherlands, Denmark and at various festivals such as Habitat Festival, Feel Festival and MS Dockville.

Alex and Noel from Hamburg are connected not only by a good friendship, but above all by their love for electronic music. Both had been solo artists for years, until they decided to join forces in 2019: 'Garden State' was born and with their 4-track debut EP, which they signed on Katermukkes little sister 'MUKKE', the first milestone was laid for the project.

Garden State's sound creates a balance between complexity and dominance. They defy the convention of subordinating themselves to one genre and yet reveal a clear handwriting. Striking basslines, propulsive percussions and elevating melodies create an euphoric atmosphere that pierces through the dancefloor haze. Are you ready to enter the Garden State?
