RAPTCHA - ATTITUDE [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Our 2nd EP comes in from Gloucesters rising star, Willow. A producers producer so to say, WIllow's taken his time to hone his sound and master the craft, and it's not gone unnoticed with tunes like Badman Sound and the Wonky Song bootleg doing the rounds on soundcloud. We're feeling blessed to be able to present his first label release, and considering just how good these tracks are, it's a miracle they're out for free.

Title track Phantom is an absolute head turner. An eerie yet epic build up which pays off with an awesome synth and subsequent plunge, there's undeniable sci-fi/horror vibes to this track and we're all here for it. Ever evolving, the 2nd drops and switches on this one are bound to keep you on your toes. DJ's, trust us: you need this one. 

Nasty Bass again draws on the same futuristic sounds in its build up, but this time punchy drums are met with a hard and dark synth. Again, WIllow's signature seems to be finding the perfect switches to leave you satisfied on repeat listenings time and time again.

For our first release in 11 months, we simply needed to sign something special, for both us & our listeners. Across that period, we've had a long break & hiatus; a much-needed refresh. Now, we're back with a primed, 174-themed bang, with lots of exciting plans on the horizon, both in a label and press capacity. So, without further ado, we're delighted to welcome Pulsate to OTW with his stunning first release on the platform. In 'Run The Record', we have a track with many redeeming facets and qualities across its sublime technical aspects, dominating percs, flowing drum-work, glittering synth-design and subliminal, background aesthetics but the main thing is that it slaps, especially on the dancefloor. Through their own merit, producers that we've released with including Infrared, Papps, Namena, Max Baker, Sample, Spacegat, Blvckmore, Yozhi, mAngo, S3 Dubs and more have all gone onto achieve huge things on their rise into the scene, and we expect Pulsate to reach those same dizzy heights. There's no stopping this kid.

Leeds-based partystarters sub:stance are back with their latest release, in the form of a simply staggering 4-track effort from Bristolian don GLM. All tracks hit that rupturing, rolling murk that we've become accustomed to from GLM, and that gleaming mayhem is gleefully apparent on 'Always You', a heavyweight collaboration that sees him link up with Manny favourite Kumo. We're introduced with sharp, cascading breakbeats, bleating, robotic atmospherics and a carefully selected, pinpoint vocal sample - that all quickly makes way for a minimally brilliant, stripped back bassline, although each of those preceding elements continue to crop up throughout the tune. Catch this one duppying down a dancefloor near you very soon.
