Very nice OnTrack! You've mixed this really well, the sound are crisp and have their own space. Very enjoyable :)

Well focused theme and I like the arps and runs which drive the flow of the track

Mix is quite good the track sounds full and balanced. Could see this working as an indie videogame soundtrack easily.

very pleasing bouncing lines in the stereo image, that's really cool

really enjoyable reminds me of playing final fantasy for some reason with the way its written and the attention to space

One Synth Challenge #164: Ghost (beta) by exacoustics

Trench has discovered that her combine harvester goes faster when she plays drum n bass. Who knows why? Perhaps there's some sort of spiritual connection between the clutch and the bass? The build is great - the cutter starts up and there's a steady stream of grain into the hopper. When you get to the drop, it seems to be racing through the fields. 

The only problem is the breakdown...

My entry for the 164th edition of KVR's One Synth Challenge. All sounds made using Ghost, a forthcoming synth by exacoustics. As of October 2022, it's still in beta.

No machines were harmed in the making of this track.

Made using GHOST 0.3.6 for the KVR One Synth Challenge. Everything is done via synth, no samples or external modulation used.

This was a lot of fun to make as I used to spend a lot of time trying to make rock tracks using very old MIDI gear (like, SC-55 old) by manipulating them as much as I could. I went with a similar approach here.

Polygeist (OSC 164 Ghost)

The gremlins in Negoba's studio decided to steal snippets of his previous OSC's to create a monster destined to confound and disgust all listeners. Unbeknownst to them, their creation (Jenkins) instead prefers cuddles and long walks on the beach.

All sounds created using Odin2 Softsynth by Wave Warden for KVR OSC #197.

Mix of stock presets, tweaked presets, and init. Shout back a bit to a previous track where I used Odin on an open round. I think I’ve learned a little since then.

Final, remixed submission for OSC 197. Idea for this track was partially inspired by Carl Craig's "Home Entertainment" off of his classic Detroit techno album Landcruising, but then I decided to add drums and it became a very different beast. Hope y'all like it!
