British-Iranian Queer artist Zahra Deljoui is leading the way for the LGBTQIA+ community with her honest, relatable, and incredibly important message in music. Combining her bedroom glitch-pop roots with alternative synth tones, Zahra has crafted a unique alt-pop sound to accompany her stunning vocals.

"Come Home For Christmas" is a heartfelt, genre-blending 5-track EP from British-Iranian queer artist Zahra Deljoui and Swedish singer-songwriter and producer Tobias Welin aka Still In The Bank. The duo bring together their unique talents, with hints of Billy Corgan meets Bat For Lashes, emotionally resonant vocals and beautifully melodic piano. They deliver a rich and diverse collection of remixes that tell a story of togetherness during the holiday season. The lead track offers a dreamy yet timeless Christmas ballad reminiscent of a classic holiday soundtrack. The EP brings together a range of influences—from the emotive dream-pop and DnB of Swedish artist Jonatan Bäckelie to the funky, slow psytrance of Colombian producer Alex Muzo—ensuring there’s a track for every holiday mood.

The lead single, “Come Home For Christmas,” is a moving duet between Zahra Deljoui and Still In The Bank, combining elegant piano balladry with lush pop elements. Co-produced with Zac Ware of The Proclaimers, the song weaves together themes of love, longing, and reunion. As the story unfolds, the listener is taken on a journey of two lovers separated by distance but united in heart, coming together once again for Christmas. It’s a track full of warmth, hope, and sincerity—perfectly capturing the essence of the holiday season.

Dubbed the “South Yorkshire Springsteen” Hook laden, Epic & Energetic songs, all Delivered with his trademark growl. Soulful songwriter Sam Scherdel has been penning music since his early teens. With his gravelly voice contributing to his unique blueprint; his music is never too far strayed from the Rock and Alternative resonances that were the background of his youth. 

Acclaim has followed from national BBC introducing and hundreds of performances starting from bars years ago through to recently Arena sized supports, make Sam one of the songwriting talents awaiting to turn heads. 

Since launching in March 2022 he proceeded to release singles which caused a stir within the industry. He returned with a live show stronger than ever featuring a full band. 

2024 saw a headline show sell out at the iconic Leadmill, Major festival appearances including Glastonbury & Tramlines, and also support slots with Reverend & The Makers, Two Door Cinema Club, Ocean Colour Scene & Embrace

February 2025 will see his debut EP “Meet Me On The Moon” released physically and Digitally via Blaggers Records with support from Ditto music, supported by a tour and 4 single releases, ensuring the future looks exceptionally bright for the acclaimed alternative/indie star.
