Anber takes us to his home country of Greece and our Hamburg cutter suddenly sails through the Aegean. The sunlight glistens in the turquoise crystal-clear water and the crew returns the greeting of the sun god Helios with sparkling sounds and plenty of rhythm in the rig.

This is our island getaway! Anber shows us the way to the most beautiful beach on Kimolos and with the sand of Rema between our toes, we dance barefoot to the bracing beats. Now we understand why they call it "Kimolomu": "My Kimolos"!

Following the motto "When life gives you lemons, make a cake", we fully focus on positive vibes! Guy Maayan and Mono & Kusten give it a good spin and show us some more splendid sides of the island. Open Records is a techno, house and electronica imprint based out of the sunny state of Queensland, Australia. Founded in the lush tropical paradise of Cairns in 2007 and now managed out of the bustling metropolis of Brisbane, Open has grown into a respected and prolific label with more than 70 releases from artists in all corners of the globe.

The Open sound is just that. Over the years we have released everything from deep, organic, progressive and tech house, to staunch minimal, hypnotic tribal, driving techno and abstract electronica. What has remained constant is our desire to represent the intelligent, groovy, dancefloor-oriented sound of the Australian festival and party culture, with a little help from our friends around the world, too.
