Happy to welcome BOHO and Mr. Bizz at Katermukke, we present their 3 track release called 'Fixing'. Starting off with the equally named track, our ears hear rolling melodic techno, which fires sirens surrounded by a constantly catchy groove. Keeping a captivating groove the two are diving into a deeper realm with 'Auroris'. And finally there is 'Consistence'. The calm beat and the hopeful synth line lying underneath turn it into a wishful dream.

We are glad to welcome Marius Drescher back. And ever since none of his skills to create outstanding progressive house decreased quite the opposite is actually the case. 'Nova' is an unstoppable beat with a chunky bassline almost sounding rusty. This in combination with the arpeggios is just explosive. But there is also 'Not Even Close', which freshens it up a little with vocals and lots of movement in the mix.

It’s been a rather prolific start to the year for Turkish producer Elif. Following the critically acclaimed release of her remix of Husa &amp; Zeyada’s A Little Fun on IAMHER at the beginning of February, the Barcelona-based talent now unveils her first full-length package of 2023, with the announcement of her mesmerising new three-track EP, Letting Go, on Stil Vor Talent.

Due for worldwide release on Friday, February 24, Letting Go marks Elif’s eagerly anticipated return to the long-standing German imprint, following her contributions to the Stil Vor Talent 300 VA back in 2021 with Juno and the label’s 15 Years VA compilation with Entanglement back in 2020. Kickstarting the EP with the arresting opener Let Go, Elif joins forces with German duo Stil &amp; Bense for an emphatic debut collaboration, as the three producers christen the EP with a sinister, underground juggernaut. Layers of industrial synths and intricate beats combine with rolling basslines and intermittent vocal drops and within seconds you’re locked in, riding the wavelengths until you reach the mind-bending breakdown. Next up, Elif lowers the intensity for a more playful second single, Sombre.
Created alongside long-time friend and recent production partner ,Gespona, the pair toy with melody, texture and tonality across the frisky seven-minute cut, cultivating a unique sonic palate that explores an array of minimal,
underground timbres. Last but by no means least is the resounding finale On My Own, as Elif takes the reigns for the aptly-titled closer. A dynamic solo offering delivered by an artist whose creativity in the studio seems to know no bounds, rolling grooves, shuffling rhythms and warped synthesizers shine front and centre, as Elif pulls out all the stops to conclude another extraordinary release on Stil Vor Talent.
Born and raised in the cultural hub of Istanbul, Turkish producer Elif is rapidly earning her rightful place amongst dance music’s elite. Open Records is a techno, house and electronica imprint based out of the sunny state of Queensland, Australia. Founded in the lush tropical paradise of Cairns in 2007 and now managed out of the bustling metropolis of Brisbane, Open has grown into a respected and prolific label with more than 70 releases from artists in all corners of the globe.

The Open sound is just that. Over the years we have released everything from deep, organic, progressive and tech house, to staunch minimal, hypnotic tribal, driving techno and abstract electronica. What has remained constant is our desire to represent the intelligent, groovy, dancefloor-oriented sound of the Australian festival and party culture, with a little help from our friends around the world, too.

Along the way we've managed to top the Beatport charts, featured in the playlists of some of the world's biggest DJs and radio shows and helped launch the career of some of Australia's most talented artists.
