Meet Julie on a gloomy night she felt that something didn’t feel quite right
But despite the feeling of fright 
She decided not to hide 
She made herself a walking spotlight for any monsters of the night’s delight 
And I'm here to write some insight on how Julie died 
You may wanna look the other way 
You’re not gonna like the story today

(Verse 1 - Julie’s last night out)
Party in a crowd, 4 drinks down
In bar uptown 
Julie lost in the sound 
Another round on the house 
Ready for whatever the night allows
Julie took a browse of the catalog of guys 
One in particular caught her eyes 
But little did she know he’s the reason she dies 
Music gets louder this puts momentary pause to their encounter 

( Verse 2 - Strangers) 
Another hour passes, let's all raise our glasses 
The stranger then advances and with Julie he dances 
They don’t communicate with words but with glances 
Julie wonders, is this what romance is? 
It’s been a while since she had ever been kissed 
Being swept off her feet is something she can’t resist
She wonders if this night is gonna be a hit or miss
The music dies down and a conversation begins to exist

(Bridge - Meet Julie)
Julie, it’s truly a pleasure
It’s almost as if I’ve known you forever

(Verse 3 - The mind of a monster)
Oh little does she know that I wanna take her home 
I’m not talking about mine I'm talking about hers
In the mirror I rehearsed every verse 
I already know every little thing she prefers 
I watched you from afar 
Every night I drove my car past your house

Something seems off 
Maybe it’s because I drank all that Smirnoff

I mean through the night he’s actually been pretty suave

I guess I have to try if I wanna know the outcome

She fed into his illusion 
Someone so inhuman who’s about to do something so gruesome 
So the conversation led back to her place
What a grave mistake 
I’m warning you, this is the part where you should look away

It’s almost like he knew exactly where to go when he drove her home
All of her senses thrown off by the drinks and the radio
Then she realized she never gave an address 
And in distress she cries all over her pretty dress
He even notices and with an emotionless smile 
He prepares to do something so vile
While Julie tries to run away
With no restraint he aims for her throat and he cuts his prey
Julie’s blood covered the passenger door 

(Verse 7 - All things must come to end)
Julie’s life couldn't make it past 24 
Who knew a Christmas night could end in so much gore
He wasn’t satisfied he wanted more 
But right around the corner there was an officer who could of saved a life if he had arrived when the night was younger 
At least now he can put a stop to this vicious hunger 
Caught red handed, the bloodiest fingerprint 
On a peppermint winter could things get any more bitter? 
Well this killer wasn’t exactly a quitter 
He went in for an attack
The officer put a bullet through his back
It all ended there
What a horrible night to bear

This man says, “come to me and drink”.
And suddenly I had to turn and stop and think.
And face all my uncertainty.
And wonder about eternity.
And where to place my hope.

He says it's living water- 
flowing like a river-
through the life of the believer.
In the spirit of the savior. 
Poured into his endeavors-
With the seeker, the warrior, 
The thinker, deceiver. 
The never-receiver.
The almost-believer.

It's a life inside that’s more than you.
Extending through, out past your view.
Running past the walls of you.
Like the streams and rivers like to  do.
