Music is about sharing and I couldn't have been more honored than to have my good friend Ripperton share the decks with me. This was our very first together and it didn't disappoint. I would even say all tracks were on point, at least to us. We had so much pleasure listening to each other's selection and drinking many beers to wash down that bright sunshine heat before the rain broke and the dance floor turned into a rain dance celebration. It was a memorable night and I hope it shows through this recording.

Coming from a diverse and randomly mixed musical background, whether as bass player, producer or DJ – Magic Manfred always combines his multiple influences to complement one another and focuses on their common features instead on the differences.
His bass playing influences his DJing and the other way around. A big mutual factor in all his roles is his undeniable love for the Jazzfunk, Disco & Boogie of the 70s and early 80s.
Growing up in Berlin he made his first steps as a DJ spinning also Boom Bap, Detroit Techno & Chicago House which sometimes becomes noticeable in his sets.

So here goes number 26 and a new start to the Radio Guest House sessions.
