https://soundcloud.com/katesteinnyc: Melancholic turn hi-NRG mix was live recorded in Brooklyn. It debuts some tracks set to release on my new imprint 99FVR launching in March, alongside my favorite sounds of the moment. When recording the mix, I had a moment of overwhelming emotion, ruminating around the feeling that never quite leaves me "happy about feeling sad".  The two hours twist and turn through multiple genres, yet at the heart of the mix - forever a deep, feverish, and driving pulse.  This is what 99FVR is about and it will be the home of my 5th EP "SNAFU".

A nascent purveyor of dark electronica and cutting-edge disko in all its forms, Australian DJ/ producer and visual artist Kate Stein is grooving her way into the good graces of underground circles around the globe.  Kate’s dynamic and fun approach to soundscapes in full bloom - unafraid of taking risks, she draws deep appreciation from post punk, minimal wave, neu-rave and chuggy house music.

Known for her hypnotic rhythms, driving percussion, and arcane melodies - Kate has released on labels including TAU, Rotten City Records, Roam, and Playground.  2024 is set to be a big year for Kate, with the launch of her own label 99FVR.  The offbeat and indie driven imprint will kick off with her 5th EP “SNAFU” in April (with remixes from Mala Ika and Neu Romancer + Radondo).

Moitié de l’infernal duo @sheitanbrothers, Patxi aime jongler avec l’ensemble de ses influences et fascinations musicales, l’idée étant de surtout verser sérieusement dans le soleil. On retrouve dans ses sets des sonorités brésiliennes (plein), du boogie français (parfois trop), de l’italo disco (beaucoup) du Kwaito (attention ça brûle) et tout un tas de choses perdues ou oubliées des 80´s qui peuvent un peu faire tourner la tête. 

Pour la première heure, Patxi navigue dans un océan de styles tous plus dansant les uns que les autres. Les @ritmo-logico prennent le relais sur la deuxième heure pour une émission riche en énergie 🔥💗
