Taking trends, making trends and breaking trends, Josh Wink’s music has always experimented and influenced. The sound of Josh Wink today remains one of a man unafraid to walk the border between stylistic boundaries. His remix discography of over 25 years includes seminal artists such as Radiohead, Moby, Sting, Depeche Mode, Radioslave, and Dave Clarke, to name a few.

Wink also runs his own label, Ovum Recordings, which is in its 28th year of existence.

Ian is an Irish DJ and producer. He counts mainstays such as Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, John Digweed as some of his biggest supporters due to his identifiable sound. Ian’s productions focus on the more melodic side of techno and house, ranging from deeper to peak time cuts.

It’s quite a diverse edition because it’s January, it’s cold and dark in Berlin and I am in the middle of construction work, rebuilding my studio. Nevertheless I found the time to make a new mix and it’s a mix of the feelings I feel right now as well. 

We’re gonna start into this hour with Bonobo and Jacques Green, Greg Gow, a new one of Lucas Alexander, Diego Infanzon - Oh My Music which is actually a new record which is coming out on my label Sous Music, you know I am a big fan of Diego and I am super happy to release this little beast - the good thing is: I am gonna have a Dense & Pika Remix on it! Kobi and I have known each other well before we had ever met; over those epic Deep Dish '90's sessions at the legendary Haoman 17 club in Tel Aviv. While we shared a deep love of dance music, his trajectory veered into LA nightclub operation, promotion and ultimately, his ode to the seemingly perfect venue, Sound Nightclub. I still remember the tour he and Craig Pettigrew gave me before they opened the doors. It was - and is - beautiful.

Over the past decade, with each visit, I watched as Kobi tweaked, fine-tuned. revamped, and upgraded endless times - never missing the slightest detail - to ensure that gave their crowd and the numerous top-tier artists who've graced that booth, the perfect nightclub experience. From the layout...to sound, production and staff, Kobi nailed it; it's why Sound is on a very short list of venues I'd be willing to do an open to close set.

So a very happy 10yr anniversary Sound Nightclub and congrats to my brother Kobi; hope you all enjoy my 6hr journey from last month.
