For our next trip Down The Stairs, we head down south to Birmingham and are supremely delighted to welcome Jayson Wynters (@jwynters) into the DTS fold.

Kicking off his musical endeavours as a garage MC around Birmingham in the late 90's, Jayson's tastes evolved over the years and he found support in the form of the legendary Mr G, who took on Jayson as part of the Phoenix G family with his 2016 EP, 'Unfamiliar Territories.' It was this, and 2 further releases on Don't Be Afraid (@dontbeafraid), that brought Jay to our attention here at 2Sox HQ. From then on, we have thoroughly enjoyed all his output; from other tracks to a plethora of flawless mixes.

We were chuffed when Jayson accepted the offer of heading DTS and even more chuffed when he delivered this quite perfect hour of deepness.

Bit of an Escape Planet Earth and 2020 vision Recordings theme for this episode, with no less than 5 tracks from them 2 sister labels played.  The calibre of the their music, artist roster and releases have really made a heavy impact on our little scene and me in particular and I am pleased to share these with you the listeners in the shows.  Another label with excellent forthcoming releases scheduled is Exalt Records, tracks from both the Ever Vivid and Morphology albums and 12's respectively feature too.  Murge Recordings is another independent label who do things properly, 2 from their upcoming Renegades Vol III get an airing in this episode.
