We welcomed a long time veteran of the scene to the show, who joined me for a 2hr guest mix. Scott Braithwaite. 

Having been involved since day one, from remixing soundscape in the early 90’s.
To projects with Techno luminary Craig Walsh, moving to A&R, the architect behind many projects of yesteryear which paved a path for the deeper side of House & Techno, to critical acclaim.
Working for Kickin Records, home of Slip N Slide, Warlock, being the original A&R at Kickin records left, leaving Scott to compile many compilations from producers in the 90’s, including the ‘Elements of Jazz’ series, featuring 3MB feat:Juan Atkins, Dave Angel, Glen Underground, Dan Curtin, K Alexi, Patrick Pulsinger, Black Jazz Chronicles (Ashley Beadle), Model 500, Ian O’Brien, As One (Kirk Degiorgio).
Also, the Techno Nations Vol 6 & 7, featuring Monolake, James Ruskin, Surgeon, Kosmic Messenger, The Advent, Jay Denham, Space DJs, Joey Beltram, Drexciya, Planetary Assault Systems, then ‘The Freestyle Fusion’ compilation for Dynamite Joint recordings, featuring artists Stasis, Bandulu, Afronaught, The Cinematic Orchestra.
He has played all over the world and continues to this day.
Fragmented, featured releases and albums from Morgan Geist, Dan Curtin, Chris Gray, Jaime Read amongst others.

"The mix was recorded at an illegal party on the edge of Sheffield, an old farmers barn in the middle of nowhere. We went on early as we wanted 3hrs to build the crowd up and get everyone dancing. We spent our time watching the crowd and mixing to get them up. After 30 minutes we had the place rocking for 3hrs, it was a real buzz, nothing beats that feeling. The DJ after us cleared the floor by playing drillcore, after 45 minutes the party was over. The promoter was well pissed off" The Black Dog

We’ve invited one of our all time favorite guests to kick off these new mix series in honour of our 10th anniversary. ZeeZout Co-Orientations 1, a ten year revival mix by none other than Optimo!

This high quality energetic mix is exactly the way we know and love Jonnie and Keith. Jonnie begins the mix and lays it up to Keith who plays an all Dutch music set. A trip through the history of Dutch electronic dance music. One hour filled with ravey sounds, heavy snares, dancefloor desire and piano strings. In ZeeZout Co-Orientations we share music with the world from our favorite regulars and give new artists the chance to introduce themselves. Something that is highly needed in times without festivals and club shows. As this is a collaborative project, Optimo picked the upcoming talent who will record the next mix. More on that soon!
