Heliopora is an artist whose name brings to mind sun, deep sea, and coral reefs, brings us an aquatic sound journey inspired by his diving experiences and long record of mixing out in nature. Co-Founder of Melifera Records, a French-based record label and events organiser, his music seeps a life lived between the blue coast and the foothills of the Alps.

Heavily influenced by dub techno, this ambient-esque set in particular evokes those moments when you enter into a new world filled with deep blue hues, the rays of light glistening through, shining onto the fish, algae and anemone surrounding you. It recreates those tangible moments as your head goes under water, the sound around you changes, and the salt prickles your skin.

He was a resident DJ at The Loft and a regular at Sónar, both in Barcelona, for many years. ABSIS has always been exploring the deepest side of electronic music which varies between ambient and techno. In 2018, he released his first album, «From Earth to Heaven» on the French label Lett Records. Exploring deeper atmospheres and focused on emotion, his music is dedicated to travel and introspection.
His works can be found on the brilliant South Korean label Oslated/Huinali, and also on Annulled, Precept, or Stellar Transitions.
