UK producer and DJ Ross McMillan is Carlos Nilmmns, whose name has become synonymous with an eclectic but often deep and sensual sound influenced by the best traditions of Chicago and Detroit. In the past he's released music on some of the best-of-breed labels in the world including Circus Company, Cocoon, Ornaments, KMS, Planet E and Dopewax.

In this episode of OpenLab Selectors we welcome Ibiza based electronic music artist, broadcaster and record label owner JR Hartley.
James cut his teeth in the north of England writing music and DJing for fun, then in the early 00s, he and a friend decided to form a music act and have been releasing music and DJing around the world since. Whilst playing some of the more notorious venues like Space and DC10 in his house and techno duo, JR Hartley was created as a solo alias to play all of the other music he loves. You can find him in smaller, more underground venues such as Malanga Cafe and Las Dalias Ibiza , playing to his friends, the locals and the more curious visitors. 
He’s curated this mix using lots of different styles of music from classical to techno, taking advantage of modern digital technology and different mixing disciplines to connect them together into a single immersive journey.

Paul runs the Most Excellent Unlimited record label and Barbie plays in Seedy Films. Together, they run the NYC chapter of Classic Album Sundays,  the most respected audiophile active listening events worldwide.

The epitome of this is the Galcher Lustwerk remix of Park Hye Jin, wherein the 26-year-old rapper, producer, singer and DJ Hye Jin is reworked for late nights and early mornings by US super-producer Lustwerk for five gloriously tripped-out minutes. Elsewhere on the show, Cici opts for underground nuggets from the likes of Future Sound Of London ('Cellular Control', taken from the archives, if ever there was a better description!) as well as gems from Kuniyuki Takahashi and E-Missions Sip on this.
