Not An Animal, his own Jansen Jardin imprint, and many other fine labels are always refined, imaginative and effective. He carries these sensibilities into his DJ selections too, with an all-encompassing sound that takes in blissful melody, expansive world rhythms, tripped-out dub and murky late-night textures.
