The Tent (at the End of the Universe) 05 [with Paul Day]

Kicking off our mix series for 2024 is London-based DJ and Sticky Plastik label curator, Marcelina Wick.

After delivering a stellar set on the lighthouse at Gottwood a couple of years ago, we couldn't be happier that she's contributing to our mix series.

In her mix, Marcelina showcases her signature style, of effortlessly blending between carefully selected records that guide you through a mesmerising range of sound, from house to techno/electro, tech-house, and minimal.

Having played at some of London's leading venues and parties, as well as a string of international gigs, it's easy to see why Marcelina is making waves in the underground dance music scene. We can't wait to welcome her back to Gottwood this year. Catch her on Friday doing her thing on the Lighthouse for the Jive Talk and Friends Takeover.

Sticky Plastik label boss Marcelina has been carving her name into the fabric of Europe’s underground scene for some time now.  With an impressive collection under her belt & a fine tuned ear for rare and unusual digs, Marcelina’s sets build an  expressive journey that takes you seamlessly through everything from timeless tech house & minimal to heavy hitting Techno & Dark Disco.  

Her sets have gained notoriety from at some of the UKs leading venues & festivals such as Fabric, Printworks, Progress Centre, Gottwood & more while making waves  further afield at Berlin’s CDV, La Peniche Cinema in Paris, travelling as far as Ecuador &  Dominican Republic, as well as China and South Korea to share her sound.  

Now, having moved to Poland, Marcelina continues to spread her sound and fuel her desire for electronic experimentation.
