A monumental mix landed in our inbox a few weeks ago from Bristol's disco virtuoso, Admin. Brace yourself for an electrifying session, meticulously curated and seamlessly spun from all 45's, delivering raw, unfiltered, straight-up brilliance with zero pretense. 

For those unfamiliar with Admin, he made waves and turned heads in 2021 with his self-released, smoky late-night bumper titled "Step into Light." This track captivated listeners, landing on countless dance floors and finding its way into endless DJ mixes. It was also recently featured on the esteemed Mr Bongo Record Club Vol. 5 Compilation. 

He’s got edits due on Mystical Circles and G&D, a remix out for I Travel To You Records and a new self-released 45 in the works 🎶

It’s brought to you by Davin Underwood, a highly talented vinyl connoisseur with impeccable taste who counts institutions such as Seoul’s Channel 1969 and Hamburg’s Isle of Wax amongst his regular spots.

Alongside playing out, Davin Underwood is the founder of the Hey, It’s Love party in his resident Hamburg, an event that focuses, strictly or otherwise, on vinyl as the optimum medium of delivering the groove. His 80 minute mix spans decades and genres, rooted in disco, boogie, afro, synth and mediterranean sounds and presented in blissful, slow-motion fashion – dare I say, it’s a bit balearic."

Full of cold and busted equipment meant not much talking this week, instead JR plays some music recorded live from his Time & Space residency at WOM. The show is split into two halves, the first is a mix of lo-fi and deep house, played slow and gentle and the second half is more like the stuff he would play at one of his and Sadeedos Quantum Disco parties. Music from Justnique, Max Sinàl, Manuel Darquart, Nação África, Jamiroquai, Kyoto Jazz Massive and more.

A seasoned member of the Bristol music scene and now London-based, Jay L is a DJ & music obsessive with a deep record collection built over the last 25 years.

Following releases on UK labels Don't Be Afraid & brstl, he now heads up his own Deep Street imprint and series of parties with longtime friend and collaborator, Andy Mac.

Jay has a long standing reputation both as a dedicated DJ able to slay the club, and as a discerning digger. He is known for a particular interest in the rich tapestry of styles and influences that make up real house music and culture. 
Never one to be pigeonholed however, his mixes for the likes of NTS, Boiler Room & Libra Mix and ongoing Noods Radio residency display the broad and eclectic ear of a true music lover.

For this edition of Stan Radio, Jay has turned in an uplifting and soulful selection. Strictly vinyl. Flavours for the end of Summer with a heavy Lovers Rock & Reggae lean that touches on Dub, Digital, Roots and RnB.
