Rotterdam’s resident grime librarian, Sun O.C. has the deepest white label collection this side of Bow E3. Whether behind the decks or behind the mic, he knows his way around a 16 bar and he’s shutting down dances on a weekly basis. Pushing his city’s growing UK music scene frontline, he’s tipped to fly high like birds in the sky. From radio to raves all around the Randstad, he’s a growing name that you better know.
Like all true Rotterdammers he began his journey into sound with gabber and hardstyle, but his head got turned by the bump and flex of UKG. Quickly falling for the dark side of the 2-step sound, he’s since immersed himself in basslines that are bad to the bone.
Operator resident since way back when, his monthly shows reveal an encyclopaedic knowledge of club genres, from UK Funky to dubstep and drill. Frequently inviting guests both local and international for a guestmix, he’s the godfather of a burgeoning scene that’s beginning to flourish and prosper.
With his Grimey Hours show on Operator Radio he digs deep into tracks with the ace hood flow, mixing first gen microphone champions alongside the newest kids on the block. No stranger to a club night, he’s previously brought his flawless mixing to Melkweg, Bird, Rewire Festival and Pip Den Haag. The Netherlands tourer, champagne pourer and rudeboy selector that you can’t afford to miss.
With studio work going on behind the scenes and his own sunglasses brand, SUNWIRHT, to operate, it’s a mystery how he fits everything in. Maybe he’s the hardest working selector in the game? All we know is before long he’ll back out there doing it again.

Their unique mixture of cinematographic and melodic techno forms highly enjoyable rides throughout every night.

Behind Mononoid are Igor and Andy from Groningen, the Netherlands. They took the word ‘Mono’ (as in solo) and the word ‘nooit’ (Dutch for never), which basically can be translated into "never alone".
