We're delighted to welcome our first guess in this Podcast Series: Síoda Rua!

Síoda Rua is an Irish DJ deeply connected to music since childhood. Coming from a music-loving family, she grew up playing the Irish flute before discovering piano and guitar during her teenage years. Her encounter with electronic music at the age of 14 marked a turning point, awakening in her fascination for this rich and infinite sound universe.

Specializing in the art of mixing vinyl, she delivers sets that naviguate between house and techno, adapting to the atmosphere and energy of each event. Although she loves exploring a wide variety of genres, she is particularly drawn to deep sounds: liquid textures, mesmerizing atmospheres, minimalist percussion and rhythmic patterns. Her performances transform into captivating sonic journeys where every details matters.

In this mix, Síoda Rua take listeners on a journey through her favorite styles of techno: starting with deep, hypnotic sounds, moving into energetic, percussive rhythms, and ending with powerful, mental grooves.

Ataraxy is a queer Brussels-based dj. Although he’s better known for his groovy/trancy tracks, Ataraxy’s collection ranges from trippy/hypnotic sounds to ghetto/breakbeat, hard house and hard dance. He puts all his emotions into his mixes and releases them as soon as he gets behind the decks. Music has become a way to release himself from his hypersensitivity. 
Ataraxy means « peace of mind ; a state of freedom from emotional disturbance and anxiety ; unconditional tranquility ». This name has great significance for him, since it’s this feeling that he’s trying to feel AND convey to the crowd.

Brussels-based Niko Hoke has been shaping his musical identity behind the decks since the age of 13. After completing his studies in physiotherapy, he chose to dedicate himself fully to DJing and music production.

Rooted in the raw energy of hardgroove, Niko’s sets are a dynamic blend of percussive drive,
hypnotic rhythms, and unexpected twists. His sound draws from the technical finesse of artists like Funk Assault and is infused with the bold spirit of the emerging hardhouse scene, which continues to influence his aesthetic and creative direction.

Currently a resident at Leuven’s Rumba nightclub, Niko is also the founder of Loft Experience, a
collective and platform pushing fresh underground sounds and community-driven events.
