Ataraxy is a queer Brussels-based dj. Although he’s better known for his groovy/trancy tracks, Ataraxy’s collection ranges from trippy/hypnotic sounds to ghetto/breakbeat, hard house and hard dance. He puts all his emotions into his mixes and releases them as soon as he gets behind the decks. Music has become a way to release himself from his hypersensitivity. 
Ataraxy means « peace of mind ; a state of freedom from emotional disturbance and anxiety ; unconditional tranquility ». This name has great significance for him, since it’s this feeling that he’s trying to feel AND convey to the crowd.
