Ataraxy is a queer Brussels-based dj. Although he’s better known for his groovy/trancy tracks, Ataraxy’s collection ranges from trippy/hypnotic sounds to ghetto/breakbeat, hard house and hard dance. He puts all his emotions into his mixes and releases them as soon as he gets behind the decks. Music has become a way to release himself from his hypersensitivity. 
Ataraxy means « peace of mind ; a state of freedom from emotional disturbance and anxiety ; unconditional tranquility ». This name has great significance for him, since it’s this feeling that he’s trying to feel AND convey to the crowd.

With 9 years in the techno scene, my experience and musical knowledge grew fast. Enthousiastic and outgoing as a dancer, I want to radiate that same energy to the crowd while exploring different subgenres of techno. With a preference for Melodic Techno, Hardgroove and Hard Techno I want to take the crowd on a journey through tracks characterized by melody and hypnotic sounds.
My journey of being a DJ already brought me to places such as Rumba & co (Leuven), Kompass Klub (Gent), Decadance (Gent)...
