A magnetic personality from the land down under, Aunty Nora is infamous for bringing a unique blend of cheek and sass to every encounter, which translates perfectly to their music. 

Transitioning effortlessly from the dance floor to the DJ decks, in this DETECT explore the intersection of queer energy and raw underground power. Blurring the lines between Psyched-out thumping Techno, raw 90’s house, and Nu-wave Prog, their style creates a captivating and intoxicating experience. It's a fusion that unfolds as a driven, hypnotic, and sensual journey, turning chaos into a delightful symphony.

Peachlyfe is a hydra-sonic electronic musician thats hook & seduced the Copenhagen fast-paced techno scene, claiming their seat along with the Fast Forward Agency. Peachlyfe’s productions and live sets rebelliously weave across genres, trippy melodies cut with heavy slaps while slithering whispers in your ears owing the dismantlement of the ‘cistem’. Their previous EPs “All Tits are Real, All Money is Fake, All Hail Satan”, “Swamplyfe”, and “Against All Reason” are odes to that anarchic playfulness, a marvellous feat in blending rave-rush joy and queer defiance.Their recent EP “Boī\_(ツ)_/ ̄” serves equal parts juicy techno and epic trance with that Peachlyfe trademark:The shenanigans are continuously brought to yet another level. 

This Chalkboard TT mix is a live recording from Petra’s set when we had the pleasure to host them at “sideways” earlier this year (02.09.2023). It was a treat to be able to show Petra our little city and it has been special to have stayed connected since. Enjoy this 70 minutes of uniformed hard hitting kicks from one of the driving forces in today’s techno scene!

With this mix, I’ve tried to captured the sounds that really founded my interest in dance music. I draw a lot of inspiration from the Copenhagen Techno scene and I’m lucky enough to have been mentored by Repro and Adam Askov, and it felt really full circle to play a lot of their music, along with some classics from Schacke and Sugar. I also combined this with some of my newer interests, taking inspiration from UK sounds like Overmono and Joy Orbison. I really tried to focus on building the energy and tension throughout the mix.

UNFOLD LXVII NYE - PAIGE [LIVE] [31-12-23]

Salty DJ is one to watch. He’s a Berlin-based vinyl head and resident of the Shockwerk collective whose parties have been causing a stir in the southern half of Germany. This new kid on the block is wasting no time getting out there, with notable performances at Weltspiele, Tresor, Mala Junta, and Kulør’s label night at Berghain. His sound is indicative of a particularly defined social current rippling through music at the moment, a re-remembering and reconfiguration of the experience of youth in the 90s and parallels found on dancefloors today: soundtracked by plenty of the decade’s finest techno and trance-leaning frequencies, and plenty of shades there-between. His slamming beats barely leave enough space for you to catch a breath. Skittish and quick as a flash, there’s little doubt Salty DJ’s wax wizardry holds great promise. Bassiani Podcast 198 is powerful stuff, an hour-long dispatch from this fresh and compelling prodigy.

Known for their eye-wateringly euphoric sets that leave all in states of euphoria, Sob Story is the main collaborative project of London-based producer and DJ duo Oliver and Villhelm. 

Familiar faces within this city’s clandestine corners, the two have cut their teeth at many an institutional party over the past decade, not only giving their music input but also their unwavering support to these underground events & their line-ups.

OS Premiere's kick off with the title track from a debut series of releases on Will Lister's new label Heald Recordings. It's the first of 6 tracks being released over the course of 3 months which equate to a mini LP. We've not heard much like this from Will before, really fresh sounding electronics, with a heavy focus on atmosphere and sonics rooted in the club. This particular track builds rather emotively and is such an aural pleasure! Wicked stuff!
