"After seven years since this Dutch duo released their infamous “Attic edits EP”, Moiety & Manik are back. Voodoo Hoodoo is their brand new 3-track EP filled with psychedelic analog heat for dance-floors and tribal rituals. Each track tells its own story from voodoo scenes to deep water worlds. This EP won’t let itself be defined by genres, but the style can be described as percussion driven electronic music that will play with your imagination and take you on a trip."

Nave Migratoria is hosting the Or Noir Sessions at his home and is more than happy to share his first Set. He has been traveling for more than ten years between Europe and South-America and lived for four years in Bogotá. During his stay, he has been digging vinyl all around the country; from the small hidden stores in the bustling capital to the dusty shops of the vibrant Cali, the world class city of Salsa. His sets are composed of traditional Colombian and Latin music such as cumbia, pacific, afro or salsa

Cofradía que gira entorno al hipnotismo de las vibraciones producidas por el arrastre de la aguja arando en los surcos sónicos del vinilo. Congrega a quienes mezclan sus mejores pócimas de encantamiento en la comarca de Teusaquillo-Chapinero sobre la base de piezas arrancadas de las rancias entrañas de "La Guaca", así como adquiridas en pulcras boutiques y distintos parajes de la red. Mentes abiertas a este trance no diseñado para oídos complacientes. Las fronteras de la exaltación afro-tropical serán sometidas a profundos niveles de dilatación.

The EP series returns with more outlaws from San Francisco, Mexico, Japan, Portugal and err, Nottingham causing havoc on dance floors worldwide.

 Mr Tea is back, this time remixing Praus and he's turned in a deep house, space disco banger.  Tribal drums, analogue B-line and heavy atmospherics result in a 4am melon twister of a track.

Tokyo resident R-04's 'Kanbanwa' is 4.38 of perfectly formed deep disco garage.  Heavy beats blend with synth jams to make way for the popping bass played by Mike Watt of Minutemen and The Stooges fame. That's right, as in Iggy Pop.

For Torn Sail's Treasure, Tiago follows up his epic Birds remix on Claremont 56 with balearic headlights turned to full beam.  A nagging synth bass bounces along as organ, effected vocals and live drums create a mood that's just lovely.

Finally, Picotropico takes things deep with stripped back house track 'Oslove' that uses samples, percussion and drums to take us deep into the jungle.  Halfway through, things pick as the pulsing bass starts to drive a perfect blend of early doors / late night house music.

The first album to be completed fully after I left Finland for the Netherlands. I was living in the more rural parts of Holland for a while, spending a lot of my time bicycling and foraging in the woods at night. I discovered that the man-made nature of this country is both beautiful and frightening in equal amounts; at some times seeming like a kafkaesque tale of ecological horrors, and others a poetic struggle against the forces of nature by the will of the settlers. 

The album was recorded entirely in one evening after carefully constructing a set of constraints for the sounds and structure, tying the four songs together to tell a story of one evening in the Netherlands. Recommended listening for bicycling, driving, on the train, meditating, sleeping, making love or other moments of shifting focus.

Since his early age, Nave Migratoria grew curious and explored sounds from different parts of the world. His repertoire is very open-minded musically speaking and you can sense in his selection an influence of his travels and residencies in Latin America. His musical versatility allows him to compose DJ sets not only with Latin rhythms on vinyl such as cumbia, pacific, afro or salsa but also to blend organic and folkloric sounds with electronic music.
