Darkwood is the darkpsy/forest/experimental psy project birthed by Aidan. Growing up with parents having roots in the psy scene, I have always enjoyed psychedelic music from a young age. I really enjoy computers and electronics, as well as tinkering with different software and ideas. The merging of my creative side and my technical analytical side, as well as my absolute love for all things psychedelic led me to the idea of producing and mixing music.

This project is my journey into the exploration of light and dark psychedelia. Between organic and machine. My goal is to share a piece of myself as well as a part of the unknown in my music. Making the unknown known. Sequencing chaos into symphony...

Leave all rules at the door, this project is designed and curated to be one of borderless exploration. Boundaries define limitations, letting go of this is paramount to the enjoyment of my sound! <3

Bio Alexand3r


Alexand3r also known as Alexander Papachristopoulos, was born in Athens, Greece, on April 24, 1986. He embarked on
 his DJ journey in 2002, passionately spinning at private parties and immersing himself in a diverse array of music genres and scenes.
Drawn to the powerful allure of dark psychedelic frequencies, he ventured into music production, embracing creativity and self-expression.
He is also the founder of Alfios gathering, an Artist at Orphic Resonance Rec / Hunab Ku Rec, Excessus Rec and co-organizer at the Eudaimonia festival.
With inspiring performances in clubs, outdoor events, and festivals across the globe, Alexand3r captivates audiences wherever he goes. He has recently released his first EP, featuring dark forest sounds on Orphic Resonance Records, and is poised for even more meaningful releases with other labels 
on the horizon.
