Hello and welcome to episode #055 of Lehmann Podcast - D-Leria!

Giuseppe Scaccia was born 1987 in Frosinone. As a teenager he immediately begins to show a great interest in electronic music.
At the age of 14 he begins and follows his collection of Hardcore and Acid vinyls. In 2003, he starts his career
in the studio producing projects with his brother, THE TWINS ARTCORE and ALARMA RAVERS, achieving international success
and performing at major events, including the Q- Base. In 2014 he produces something different from the usual, something he had
long desired for. And thus D-Leria came to life. Starting with a Roland MC 909, the result was a series
of explosive “acid” tracks. By attending the unique underground club of his province ‘Affekt club‘, he meets Alex Dolby, founder
and owner of the label ‘Affekt Recordings’. Here he earned the spot as a resident DJ. In addition, he was offered to remix
one of his songs, ‘liquid tool’. In this project he designed and built a series of episodes made in stop motion created by himself.
Later he starts off his label Abnormal Records supported by artists like Giorgio Gigli, Mr. Jones, Carl Cox, The Advent, Laurent Garnier,
Slam, Paco Osuna, Angel Molina, Developer, Flug, Bryan Zentz, Mary velo, Tim Xavier, and many others.
In January 2015, he released ”Stereokiller”
his first E.P. on vinyl, getting the fifth position in deejay.de and a review on mixmag as ”tune of the month” .
We can find out ”Reflection”, one of his last production released on Affekt recordings, and “Lost in memories” released on the australian
label Android Muziq and it’s been played by Ben Sims in his radio program Run it red.
In his first year D-leria played with artists like Brian Sanhaji, Par Grindvik, Sandrien, Markus Suckut, Audiomatiques.

After a short break the London White, vinyl only, VA project returns. This time round tracks have been specially selected by co-owner Gareth Wild. 

There is a lot of Techno out there at the moment and a great deal of Various Artist releases. We feel this one in particular definitely cuts through. 

Tracks included have recently been tried and tested on dance floors in Berlin, London, Singapore and Australia with excellent crowd reaction all the way. This release is a definite must for all high energy, solid impact sets. 

All tracks written and produced by the artists.

Oscar Mulero is a techno producer and DJ from Madrid, in charge of successful record labels Pole Recordings and Warm Up Recordings. He began his career as a DJ at the end of the 80’s in Madrid, in the most experimental clubs of the city and soon ended up playing at the legendary Spanish club New World. In 1996, as a part of famous Sonar festival, the name of Oscar Mulero appeared among the list of international underground djs such as Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills. Since 1998, Oscar Mulero has released four studio albums and over 30 EPs on the labels like Tresor, Token, Semantica and his very own Warm Up and Pole Recordings. Beside this, he has developed a fully audiovisual experience with his “Light & Dark AV Set”, tested live in some of the best festivals around. His alter ego,Dr. Smoke also gained strength during this period as a showcase of Oscar’s open and eclectic vision as a music selector, moving deep into territories such as electro, dub and IDM.

His picks for Bassiani Podcast are pretty much what you might expect from the techno heavyweight, such as Oscar Mulero - an atmospheric, dynamic and moody compositions that keep the hype and energy from the beginning till the very end. Following an intense first 30 minutes, the latter half sinks into even more noisy and aggressive staff capturing Mulero’s special approach to techno aesthetic.

From the emerging scene in Lisbon, Temudo is taking over Series 039. Together with VIL, -2, Nørbak and Enkō he runs the HAYES label, focussing on the deep yet abrasive style of techno. Combining the label with his own signature style resulted in releases on Clergy, Developer's Modularz and Soma Records. Clergy has become synonymous with a balance of atmospheric and hard hitting brand of techno ever since 2014. The boss's own music has been key to that, with carefully curated releases from guests such as Dax J, Kwartz, Reflec and Cleric himself. Helping to make the label an underground favourite. ‘Clergy Visions 01’ sees Cleric invite an array on techno heavyweights to contribute to this compilation that’s mixed by the label boss himself.

After quite the hiatus, we restore the series’ continuity and are about to play host to both a selection of confidants and newly involved figures. Kicking off with a much-anticipated second mix is one of those confidants: Comrade Winston.

Since his 12th offering for the series 4 years ago, the man from Nijmegen pushed on through by playing, organizing, and collecting in an extensive fashion. Often reassessing the extremely well-aged rhythms from the 90s and 00s, Comrade Winston deservedly gives praise to past times by pushing it to contemporary crowds of all sorts and sizes. Apart from us, he’s trusted as a returning force by Reaktor, Soenda, Operator, and Drift to play yet another one of his rhythmic workouts. This particular one is made up of vinyl only and recorded in a time of isolation.

Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late 90’s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene.

He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV.

In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests.
