It arrives with two equally impressive remixes from big hitters Cari Lekebusch (H-Productions, Drumcode) and TWR72 (Float, Planet Rhythm), making for a killer follow-up to the well received 'Sehnsucht' Ep, which dropped on Turbo Recordings a few months back. Best remixes happen when the initiative comes from the very own remixer, instead of by commission. This denotes admiration and respect to the original artist, as well as a necessity to provide your own vision to an already consolidated work. 

Berghain´s resident Kobosil delivers strong dancefloor instances blending his unique understanding of the Berliner techno with Zanias’s vocals. Agency is the new solo project of half of Operant band August Skipper. His debut track offers a mature evolution that guides the listener from a percussive beginning till a high pressured synthed end. In case one track is not enough to be remixed, Dax J's raved version increases the BPMs in a mixture of "Follow The Body" and "In Eternal Return". The closing track is signed by Unhuman and brings the original EBM atmosphere back to the record.

Carl Cox is an industry figurehead whos legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell, and the new release is a label debut from Irish producer Mark Greene.

Mark Greene has been building up his reputation following releases on Spektres Respekt, Steve Mulders Orange, Oscar Aguileras HE-ART, A.Pauls Naked Lunch and Hollens Prospect.

Already a popular DJ on the Irish club scene playing regular gigs in Dublin and other parts of the country, the success of his productions has lead to international gigs playing in places like Germany, Austria, Holland, Lithuania and Poland.

With a hard hitting style influenced by the likes of Dave Clarke, The Advent and Richie Hawtin, this release showcases what he is all about and why he has caught the attention of Carl Cox.

First on the release is All Said & Done which has a rolling groove, rumbling bassline and dark atmosphere. With a punishing intensity and the menacing sound of epic pads, the track's female vocal stabs cut through the building intensity to release the pressure with uplifting bursts. Fast and furious, this is peak time techno that takes no prisoners.

Track two What's Good? is on the same vibe as the first but with hints of acid and prominent clap rhythms it takes things up a gear. Mechanical hi-hats and ominous synths make this robust sounding cut have a huge presence on a dance floor. Engulfing all who hear it, this is a peak time techno masterpiece which every DJ needs in their arsenal.

Rising UK artists Rene Wise and Billy Turner each deliver two deep techno cuts for the sixth chapter of @mote-evolver’s ‘Parallel Series’, curated by label founder Luke Slater.

Inaugurated by Luke Slater (as L.B.Dub Corp) and ASC in 2011, ‘Parallel Series’ has continued to host split releases from the likes of Shifted, Samuli Kemppi, Bas Mooy, Chris Finke, Developer, Truncate, Sev Dah, Jeff Rushin, and more. 

For its next installment, Brighton based producer Rene Wise returns to Mote-Evolver with two tracks, having debuted on the label last year. 

Both tracks are choice cuts picked by Luke Slater who’s been hammering Wise’s demos in his sets throughout the last year.

This is the first long distance trip in our digital branch, showcasing a complete album by Divide who is the alias of Davide from the Italian Syntaxism duo. In this body of work comprised of 13 tracks, you can find almost every colour in the techno sound palette, from the ambient intro Parsec to the equally soundscaped last track Alfa Persei. In between these two relaxed pieces there is a galore of beats and synths.

The album grows logically, building up as a whole opera. Punto_ω evolves from a relentless groove spiced with FM bells and resonant bleeps to the solid and slow paced Sfera Celeste, almost dubby, with subtle synth melodies in jazzy scales.

Punto_γ starts to bring things directly to danceable territories in a complex synth crescendo. Followed by Declinazione, with random sequences and tight 909 drum workout. Asymmetrical notes blend to each other giving this chaos feeling that sure dj’s like Jeff Mills will love and play.

Coordinate follows in similar parameters, alien like melodies and arpeggios over a shuffled beat, complex and always evolving. Cassiopea runs in similar parameters, but with a more aggressive sound approach.

Antares introduces distortion and harshness and acts as a powerful tool as well as the twisted Galileo, elastic and gummy but still powerful.

Centaurus boosts the high frequencies in the beginning as the rest of the elements build from below, the kick appears after a few bars putting all groove in context as the mechanical synth lines take over.

Andromeda is made of fat drums and resonant craziness spiced with wise handled distortion and Nube reminds us the best moments of solid nineties techno: hi BPM, well cooked chords and 909.

A great and detailed work that showcases the skills of this producer, aside from the currently degraded pseudo rave invasion. Again music from the future made today.

Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late 90’s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene.

He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV.

In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests.
