We are extremely happy and proud to present you Volume number 8 of our 16-year anniversary project which will be released in a limited 12' Vinyl edition and Digital format and will be split into 8 Volumes which includes a total of 44 exclusive tracks and 46 great artists, from the early days of Techno till now. We immensely thank to all the artists involved in this project, for believe in Illegal Alien Records, for joining us in this celebration and contributing with their music to make this release even more special, it's a true honor to count with all of you, thank you for being part of our history.

Jonas Kopp - Less is More Part 8 B-SIDE LP (Tremsix)

We are super glad to finally have Sciahri in the label. This producer is one of those who has a signature in techno, always finding new boundaries, pushing forward to create the best possible techno.

For this first adventure with us he delivers 5 cuts, four on vinyl and an extra number on zeroes and ones.

The Ep begins straight to the point with the metallic and continuous sequences of Dying Nature. An ode to modulation and movement, carefully crafted for the best dancefloor experience.

No regrets is the second cut, this time the flow is slower, with a crispy groove soon overlapped with a flanged synth line that changes violently as the bars go by.

On the B side Purity is synthetic and elastic, with an anabolic sub bass line that shakes the room while high frequencies massage your brain.

Closing the physical release Aurora, gray and opaque with dynamic sequences rolling over a filtered beat.

As a digital extra, Hurricane brings the energy again with empowered kick drums, industrialized ring modulated lines and a super dynamic arrangement. A sonic odyssey filling the whole frequency range.

MORD101 - Oliver Rosemann - Spells and Wonders EP [Previews]

David Reina is one of those scifi dreamers that Jeff Mills referred to when talking about the vibrant spanish techno scene. Hailing from Córdoba, Andalucía, he runs his very own Legend 1997 label and during his long career he has also released on labels like Axis Records on their Escape Velocity series. 
His debut on our label comprises twelve exercises of scientific and abstract techno, with a strong extraterrestrial touch, crafted carefully with special attention to detail.For this special occasion he offers his most rhythmic and danceable side with the exception of the first and last tracks, totally beatless. 
When talking about sci-fi techno it is easy to fall into some cliches that appear over and over on most of the releases out there, but in David Reina’s case providing a strong and personal point of view on the genre. 
After the introduction Measure, Autoscopy is gummy, elastic and mental, bringing us to Trait, accelerating the groove and introducing more sonic layers.

Overtake is fast and bleepy, a perfect tool to introduce intensity into the dancefloor while Background reduces the elements and focuses on abstraction while preserving the hypnotic drill.

Designio and Nemesis go again into hyperspace showcasing a perfect extraterrestrial techno feel.
 
Halo departs from the scifi realm and goes into combative territories focusing mainly on the rhythmic aspects and  Arquetipo keeps the pace by adding stress to the journey, using continuous sequences and sustained drones to provide the required mood.

Backup is martian and asymmetrical, an induction to trance via repetition.

Approaching the end of this epic voyage into the unknown,  TrES-2b uses drones, pads and textures wisely arranged to bring liquidness and space to a peak time moment on the proper dancefloor. Introspective stops the spaceship’s engine and brings us again to earth in a relaxed mood.

Dj Surgeles is here again with his orchestra of bleeps and abstract grooves that we love so badly. Five exercises of music from the future, delivered with care and sense, bringing us to unknown dimensions never touched by humans.
 
Philokalist sets on the spaceship’s engine, solitary bleeps to begin with and when unexpectedly a super busy 909 rhythm takes control. Add super reverberated Fx and spacious washes and, suddenly, you are out there in the galaxies.
 
Beams and Rays is like translating a black hole into sound, phrenetic but meditative at the same time, ideal to put the dancefloor into tension, to expect the unexpected.
 
Frames of Time uses synthetic pads to create the required tension, the groove here is broken and shuffled, non conventional at all, Surgeless is a master of this discipline, we all know that.
 
Act of Valor goes non linear, with all the sonic components somehow disassembled, being the 4/4 the compass to guide it all. Another voyage into the future.
 
Last cut Melodie du Nature brings combat techno to the soundtrack, fast, punchy but as always spiced with lots of alien sounds that are never the same.

Glaceo - Cyberpunk Era (Free Copyright)

Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late 90’s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene.

He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV.

In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests.
