Dilemma Podcast #037 Benales from Paris (France) Benales has been honing his craft since the end of the 90s. 
As an avid record collector, vinyl only DJ and enthusiast of Techno and House – his DJ sets and tracks combine the raw, dark and deep elements of these musical forms with a firm nod in the direction of Detroit. 
His talent allows him to put himself in many clubs in Europe like Tresor, Rex Club, Le sucre, The Gate (Georgia) but also as a regular guest of Concrete when it’s not rare to find Benales surrounded by guest of solid reputation like DVS1, Zadig, Surgeon, Steve Bicknell, Dj Pete, James Ruskin. 
Fascinated by Techno and coldness of electronic music, he released some EP’s and remixes on Sino (Technasia Label), and notably “Elements part 1 & part 2” have marked his spot in the international scene. 
Over the years, he had several releases on outstanding labels like Suburban Avenue, Analog Solutions, Knotweed, Diffuse Reality, Key Vinyl, and many more to follow.

The 42nd instalment of our FWP series, and the first of 2021, arrives from London based selector FARLEY with an hour of tight hypnotic groove and intricate rhythms. 

Drawing inspiration from the resident DJs of Berghain and his time spent on the dance floor on trips to Germany, a passion for DJ'ing was soon ignited. Moving forward he has subsequently started work on his own productions with hopes to share some tracks over the course of 2021.

Argentinian producer Translate has become one of the staples of cosmic and elaborated techno lately, with releases in the mighty Srie records or Subsist. We are super pleased to have him on board with this digital EP comprising five cuts of abstract and scientific dance music.


Axial Rotation starts the engine with a fast paced groove, heavily bass fuelled with a continuous synth line moving across the basement. All sound elements are constantly mutating and evolving although the mood is linear and loopy.


Constant Rely is a proper scfi exercise, bleeps, soft 808 drums, space and liquidity.Ideal as a dj tool to add spice to harsher tracks.


DNA Inception follows, again sine waves sequenced wisely, Bleeps and resonant noises and a minimal approach for yet another hi precision dj tool.


Dynamical Approach goes more atmospheric and ethereal with every sound component floating in a massive reverb landscape where bleeps provide the necessary hypnotic component. The feeling is similar to being floating in hyperspace.


Pulsing Signal closes the release in an epic mood, rolling basses and drums, one more time spiced with bleeps and resonant details.

Preview - Translate - Axial Rotation EP - WU67d

Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late 90’s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene.

He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV.

In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests.
