As its title suggests opener, “When The Sun”, bounds in on a light and jovial vibe—an instant warmer, arriving just in time to thaw the clench of winter with dreamy pads and a sparkling summer-bleached melody. “When The Moon” is its evening accompaniment, continuing the kinetic energy through to nightfall with a springy, rubber-ball bassline that drives the track home. “When The Earth” concludes on a more Fixmer-recognisable note. Employing signature industrial touches and dark to spooky atmospherics he delivers another stunning piece of dance floor hypnotism."

Our new digital release comes from portuguese producer Nørbak, an expert in dense textured techno often played by the deeper selectors out there. He offers no less than seven cuts for this extended EP.

Yute is the firestarter, micro Fm bells, compact drum workout, heavy subbass action and an expert arrangement. Nunca follows, slowing down the pace, low filtered drones and white noise and subtle hypnotic sequences. Jutero add extra groove with analog congas and flanged textures spiced with atmospheres and micro percussions. In Faktor we find similar elements, opaque feelings, filtered components, dynamic structure all without parafernalia.

Jutf goes back to prime time action, with a funked up groove, spaced out pads and continuous sequencing. Gyer is scifi techno at its best, pulsating synth lines run along bleeps and heavy reverberated landscapes. Biry closes the release with opaque drum sounds, and panned alien details in various layers that mutate and run all over the arrangement.

A serious exercise of scientifically cradted techno, attemporal, out of tendences and personal.

Title track Grunge leans on rave & EBM sounds as punishing synths grown and build throughout. Fictional’s hypnotic, electrostatic buzz-saw synths are designed to cut through the heart of any dance floor and an alarming rate. Limule delivers on earth shattering sub power complete with dread forming synth hooks. Finishing off with Abell 3565, Le Texier once again brings the dance floor hypnotism with a deeper take yet still keeps the pace fast and fervid.

SLV makes a triumphant return to Soma Records with a huge new release, the Scattering Sunlight EP. After his most recent album release, Berlin.A Portrait In Music, that saw him delve more into his ambient and soundscape roots, this latest EP has the dynamic producer return to more hard hitting, dance floor orientated music. The EP also feature a remix from fellow Italian Z.I.P.P.O

Fifty Degrees is a stunning opener that leans on an almost cinematic motif. Dystopic themes are carved out as sweeping soundscapes intensify before launching into a barrage of syncopated percussive elements. 90 Antiope immediately ramps up the pressure as surging drums lead the charge with ever evolving, crushing rhythms building on ethereal atmospheres. Pulsars keeps the momentum flowing, this time on a more EBM/industrial tip as regimental percussion builds intensely before opening into dark, rave infected synths. Z.I.P.P.O’s version of Pulsars closes out the EP as he takes a more gothic sounding approach. Utilising the originals darker undertones, he digs deeper, stripping back the percussion and increasing focus on the synth hook.

"Spherical" – the eagerly anticipated debut long-player from multi-faceted Spanish producer, DJ and label boss Ian Axide – will be released on June 29, 2020 via his very own Emphatic Records imprint. 

A career-defining moment for the now London-based artist, the ten-track Spherical opus marks Ian Axide’s most extensive and innovative body of work to date and pertinently showcases the inexhaustible creativity of one of the most prolific acts in underground techno right now. 

Known for his highly experimental soundscapes and hard-hitting atmospheres, Ian’s uniquely underground treatment across the entirety of "Spherical" is both wonderfully dark and hypnotic, whilst maintaining the impressive quality of engaging the listener from the very start. Complete with incredible complexity, energy and intricacy across its ten-track duration, Ian capitalises on his innate ability to draw you into a dark, industrial construct, as he explores a remarkable array of timbres from across the techno spectrum.

The Bacchanalian rites were festivities of dance and ecstasy. Masses gathered to celebrate their hedonism no matter what gender or class they’re originated from.

Chapter I: Roots of Ecstasy

Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late 90’s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene.

He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV.

In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests.
