Elkemist is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, hybrid live DJ, facilitator and ceremonialist who plays multi-genre sets rooted in mystical sounds and ethnic flavours. With a deep love of tribal bass blended with rising psychedelic energy, his sets are curated to take audiences on a sacred journey of sonic alchemy, supported by live looping with yidaki/didjeridoo, vocals, flute and percussion. Having played at festivals around Canada and Australia including Shambhala (CAN), Wicked Woods (CAN), Dragon Dreaming (AUS) and Wild Horses (AUS), he was also booked to close the Chill Island stage at this year’s canceled Esoteric Festival. While living in Canada, he co-founded a weekly ecstatic dance called Dance Wave, and he recently launched this offering in Australia to host intentional dance journeys and ceremonial gatherings for his hometown community.

Whether it’s a rising tribal bass journey, sacred gathering, ecstatic dance or sunrise festival set, expect a voyage across space and time, inspired by sounds from around the world to encourage the audience to move beyond the perceived limits of their bodies and minds.

Bringing beats to you from a multitude of producers, collectives and independent artists all around the world. 

Track selections lean heavily toward electronic sounds with a focus on Ethnofusion, Glitch, Dub, House, West Coast Bass, as well as some really chilled, mellow music which some could describe as Ambient.
