For our 17th edition of OSCUR podcast, we are thrilled to bring you an artist that has became a true heavy weight in the worldwide techno scene. All the way from Berlin Germany, we present to you none other than Luis Flores.

Renown DJ and Producer, Luis Flores is a Mexican-born, Berlin-based artist steadily gaining traction in the worldwide techno scene, playing the likes of TRESOR in Germany, and festivals throughout Europe, Asia, and North & South America.  His 2019 set at Detroit's Movement Electronic Music Festival went down as a night to remember, and pushed Flores even deeper into the American techno scene. His most recent project "Belief Defect" with co-creator Moe Espinoza AKA Drumcell was featured in the Berlin Festival "Atonal".
Classifying Luis Flores's sound is a difficult feat, and that is precisely his intent. His personality and vast experience are present in every track he produces and his live shows often highlight his improvisational approach to dark, groove-driven techno. If you consider yourself an appreciator of the art and essence that is techno music, you cannot miss this.

Alpha Particle Assembly (aka Alexandru Dima) is a Romanian-born Amsterdammer with more than a decade of professional experience in electronic music production and performance. Alpha Particle Assembly is a result of how his musical identity evolved and shaped throughout the years. His current style can be described as drum-driven, hypnotic techno with a modern industrial feel.

In its 8 years since inception, his own imprint Consumed Music gained a respectable place in the scene, organizing local events, and consistently supplying dancefloor material to the world’s top stages. Among the label’s supporters are titans such as DJ Rush, Richie Hawtin, James Ruskin, Marco Bailey, The Advent, Ken Ishii, Electric Indigo, Dubfire, and many more.

Noted as one of DJ Mag's emerging acts to watch at the end of 2019, DESNA's art transcends music; it embodies a way of living, which in turn makes her force to be reckoned with as she channels this passion into everything she does. With a slew of releases behind her, she notched over a million streams in 2020 and landed in Beatport’s top 20 chart. DESNA uses deep, uncompromising techno as her base, with her productions drawing inspiration from a vast range across the electronic spectrum.=

DESNA also launched her Frequency Made Music imprint, revealing a new platform for sonic explorations and a project exploring specific healing frequencies within underground electronic music.

Continually exploring what it means to be a ‘true artist’ within electronic music, DJ producer and now label head DESNA is crafting and curating her own path within house and techno. A regular amongst New York’s most reputable venues, from the legendary Output through to new highlights such as Avant Gardner and Brooklyn Mirage, her recent studio and life experiences have welcomed a new side to her journey as a producer.

Inspired by her late stepfather’s passing in 2021, the New York-based talent has shifted to incorporate healing frequencies within all of her original music, with this new path seeing DESNA change her focus to create uplifting and healing experiences while staying true to her underground music roots. A genre within its own field, Frequency Made Music was born and the label created, with the first release harnessing three specific frequencies to provide a unique experience across each production. Discovered during her search for medicinal tones, the channel was one of the primary sources of inspiration for DESNA adding healing Hz to her productions.

For our 31st edition we welcome Germany's master of groove Michael Klein to the podcast with a 1 hour mix.

Dark but groovy basslines are what defines the unique sound of Michael Klein.

Born in Frankfurt, the former techno capital of Germany, raised by the sounds of Cocoon and Robert Johnson, Michael quickly found his passion for gradually teasing and heavy grooves.

His releases reflect a wide range of sound from raw straightforward techno to groovy dubby sounds up to experimental and complex journeys through noises. Finding the "right" sound for the "right" moment is what makes Michael's production quality so multifaceted.
His productions are recognised and supported by artists like Pan-Pot, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Chris Liebing. Speedy J, Danny Tenaglia, Drumcell, Carlo Lio and many more.

Michael is known for energetic and hypnotising sets that combine strong programming and mixing skills. His powerful manipulative mixing style sets him apart as an artist and a DJ creating something unique for the every moment with the "right" sound that puts the crowd into euphoria and sweat.

En junio de 2009 decidieron combinar sus ideas y enormes aptitudes. Desde entonces han compartido cabina con artistas de la talla de, Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Slam,, Christian Wünsch o Octave One en los mejores clubs de España y otros 12 países.  
Desde que comenzaron su carrera como djs en el año 2000 han mantenido ese sabor a techno influenciado por Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Oscar Mulero o Umek entre otros. 
 
Siempre han sabido cómo combinar sus estudios de ingeniería de sonido con el djing y la producción. 
 
Desde su primer release en 2009 han pinchado en algunos de los clubs más importantes en Europa y América y han remixado a productores como Alexander Kowalsky, Alex Under, Re:Axis, Christian Wunsch, Oliver Deutcshmann, Yan Cook, Xpansul y muchos mas..
 
Sus temas han llegado a los Top Techno Charts en Beatport en más de 50 ocasiones para sellos como Selected Records, Rxxistance, AnalyticTrail , Trapez,, Phobiq, MB Elektronics, Bush Records, 1605 Music Therapy, or Golden Series entre otros. 
 
En 2009 comenzaron a desarrollar una original actuación en vivo que consta de la fusión de dos Live Sets, creando así un puzle de loops, efectos, bases con buen groove, melodías, todo en una línea Techno. Tocar sus propios temas les permite armar una sesión muy personal.
