Welcome to the 58th episode of the Stellar Series.

XIV Orchestral was born in Turin in the late eighties. At young age he fell in in love with electronic music, its atmospheric sounds, hot pads, and melodic leads. At the age of 15 he had already acquired his first decks, and not much later he managed to perform at different parties and at various radio shows. His approach to music confers to the far-reaching and immersive world of keyboards, organs, and synthesizers. He's currently cultivating his understanding regarding to the synthesis and modulation of sound.

He took the photography at "La Mandria Park" in Italy.

In a time of lean-back playlist listening, it's important to give due attention and credit to the composers, musicians and producers that make up our vast musical world. This series hopes to not only showcase music favoured by the artist, but also help connect the dots between their sound and that of the musical network that surrounds them.

In this first edition, Ben Tatlow delivers a wonderfully flowing mix through some of his current favourites, as well as his own projects. Moving cinematic pieces, with particular emphasis on piano composition, as well as some more sparse tracks, all tied together in lush sustain.

New show by Giraffe Tapes is kicking in on Mutant Radio! In the first episode the guest is Hidekazu Imashige, aka Gallery Six, an artist and composer who is based in Miyoshi Hiroshima, Japan. His new album called "The Waves Wiped Memory Away" was released on "Giraffe Tapes" label. Gallery Six has been making sound sketches, mixing drone sounds mainly created from synthesizer and materials field-recorded when he goes wherever his heart leads.

Finally it surges right in front of my eyes.

Hidekazu Imashige aka Gallery Six is an artist and composer who is based on Miyoshi Hiroshima, Japan.

Based on his theme “Multidirectionally considering aesthetics which are very familiar, often forgotten, concealed in nature or events, and finally reveal them”, he has been making ‘sound sketches’ mixing drone sounds mainly created from synthesizer and materials field-recorded when he goes wherever his heart leads.

Hidekazu Imashige (aka Gallery Six) 는 일본, 히로시마, 미요시에서 활동하는 아티스트이자 작곡가이다.

그는 "우리와 매우 친숙하며 때로는 잊혀지고 자연이나 사건에 숨어있는 것을 다방향적으로 고려하며, 그리고 마침내 그것을 찾아내는 것" 의 신념을 기반으로, 그의 마음이 이끄는대로, 주로 신디사이저와 필드 레코딩으로 만든 드론 사운드를 믹싱하여 사운드 스케치들을 만들어낸다.

◊x is written like that, you don't say "diamond cross", but OX. It's easier. It's impossible to write ◊x either, no one knows where the goddamn diamond is on a keyboard. As if he wanted us not to find him.
Member of the Label @onvamourir_records with which he organized a few analog festivities and cables and machines orgies. ◊x loves to play brutal and dark techno live, a mixture of crumpled sheets and laces rolled up at 175 bpm.
But his hidden pleasure lies somewhere between deep drones and soft and crystalline atmospheres. An endless collage of synths, field recording and drones layers assembled in a fragile and shiny magma.
