For our 35th podcast we welcome Dschen - a Munich based DJ, composer, modular synthesist, improviser and music lover.

Dschen caught our attention through his soft and dark soundscapes that cross paths with ambient, deep techno and a deep and hypnotic halftime, all of which focus on the organic features of sound.

"I'm transported back to that day as I drove my van down from the Alpujarras to Granada. Views of the sea from the high mountains. Curves and deep rhythms and hypnotic beats coming from the speakers. A journey to Granada that I never wanted to end."

Influenced by sounds such as bebop or progressive psychedelic rock and focused on experimental and ambient music rather than clubbing in his beginnings, Pharma (@pharmahplc) later delved into the deep and immersive sound, creating an amalgam that has been interconnecting through the passage of time to finally take shape into both listening and clubbing sets with a specific musical discourse in each context, connected with common elements, where the density between light and shadow promotes a mental activity that prevails over physical activity. He is currently focused on Masa Series (@masaseries), a label he co-runs which is related to the different subgenres of electronic music since 2020.

As a producer, he's had some great releases on prestigious labels such as On Board Music and Oslated, and he's also included a wonderful track on our brand new compilation ACCENTVA008! 
We're delighted to welcome him here today for the month of May, in a set that's precisely groovy, subtle and minimalist, that's both deep and progressive, powerful and haunting. Nems-B offers us here what only excellent DJs know how to do: constantly create the illusion of a third unreleased track and yet, like a retinal persistence, this impression of 'deja vu' without being able to easily define the reference tracks. Member of the Label @onvamourir_records with which he organized a few analog festivities and cables and machines orgies. ◊x loves to play brutal and dark techno live, a mixture of crumpled sheets and laces rolled up at 175 bpm.
But his hidden pleasure lies somewhere between deep drones and soft and crystalline atmospheres. An endless collage of synths, field recording and drones layers assembled in a fragile and shiny magma.
