Oslo's Sommerfeldt returns to home label badabing diskos with another EP of terrific disco, house and dub cuts.

Sommerfeldt has been cooking up his own fresh Scandi-sounds for more than 10 years. He has landed on this label as a solo artist but also with the likes of Sigmund Floyd, while also releasing on labels including Prins Thomas’ Full Pupp, Beatservice and Paper Recordings. He has remixed artists such as Amp Fiddler and is a mainstay of the club scene in Oslo who always brings the party.

The dub version of ´Tell Me What To Do´ presents an intimate atmosphere with organic percussion and extra synth sparkle. The track has a warm, wavy bass line and balmy cosmic pads up top. Another timeless fusion of house and cosmic disco from Sommerfeldt.

LISTEN UP!
OsloClubCast was initiated by Vinny Villbass in 2012 to promote the emerging club scene of the norwegian capitol. Every week, the clubs of Oslo sent resident dj´s to record their sets at the tiny venue Turkish Delight (RIP). The response, both live and online was massive!

Since then, OsloClubCast has been hosting recordings at festival stages and different Oslo venues, focusing on both legendary and fresh talents, spreading the essence of the norwegian sound. 

In 2020, OCC set focus on live concert videos presenting norwegian producers. Check out the OsloClubCast youtube channel for many many videos of diverse figures from the norwegian electronic music circuit!

BIOGRAPHY:
One of the most pivotal figures in Oslo’s DJ community, there is no current narrative in Oslo’s electronic music scene where the name Vinny Villbass could be negated. A producer, artist, sound guru and DJ, if it involves music, Vinny Villbass is somehow involved. He’s an accomplished recording artist with releases on Eskimo and Trunkfunk and some of his other accolades include working with the experimental electronic artist Pantha Du Prince. He occupies a variety of related positions in electronic music from the studio to behind the curtain and it all culminates in his experience as a DJ. A selector with a penchant for vinyl, whose skills can very easily be adapted for his live sets, Vinny Villbass is a versatile performer and musician.
