I am very excited to share with you my 6th single from my upcoming “Take My Hand” album.
Summer is here and with it my new song is a perfect way to start enjoying our summer sun! 
“I’ll Bring the Sun”
 
I wanted to write a song about how amazing it is to be alive.
We all have the strength to rise up and experience the day whether it is hard or we are sad, we can all help each other find a beautiful rainbow to help us through the day… no matter what comes our way.
 
“I'll bring the sun to you
You bring the rain to me
Let’s face the world as one
And the rainbow will come”
 
I co-wrote this with producer and composer Randall Thorderson and this is our very first song we made together. He’s a super talented Oregonian and musician. Randall is so easy and fun to collaborate with.

Ill Bring The Sun

Rebecca Trujillo Vest is a music creator and collaborator, producer, singer/songwriter, community activist, and a philanthropic force of nature. Growing up in Santa Fe, NM, she began singing and playing guitar. She found contemplative moments making music to be a nurturing experience she describes as similar to a mother’s love—which led to her path as an artist and to create Osmunda Music, a band and brand which she uses to guide her creative output. As an artist having journeyed to many countries, she is influenced by many sources including world music, new age, pop, folk, rock, Americana, and children’s music.

She is a passionate activist for a wide range of causes from global warming and arts education to homelessness and hunger. Most recently, she established the nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization Pandion Music Foundation with two other artists; a free online platform empowering artists as they navigate the music industry through educational resources, workshops, wellness guidance, and direct access to experts — helping to provide a constant thread of support for music creators.

Rebecca and her husband are founding members of the band Space Babies. In 2010, they opened Earthstar Creation Center, a recording studio in Venice, California. Together they have co-produced many projects.
Rebecca lives with her family in Los Angeles.
