O Sótão’s 16th Guest MIX invites @denis-kazacov, the man behind @sengileywax output. From the middle of Russia he sends us some Sengiley’s Vibes that hit us deep. Guest MIX #16: Sengiley's Vibes is a 55 minute journey that intensifies progressively, with Denis selection demonstrating class and knowledge on the scene. Unconventional, deep, hazy are words that we whisper as his set blasts through the night.

Guest MIX #16: Sengiley's Vibes by Denis Kazakov (Sengiley Recordings)

Fred Aster ( @fredastermusic ) has been cementing his name in the underground deep house & electronic eclectic scene via his own, and acclaimed, production work, radio host duties and by leading one of the best African labels within the genre, Blur Records - an Angolan electronic music label established in 2018 that spinned-off from signature events showcasing an array of international artists. 

A few days ago we reached out to Fred offering our humble Guest MIX space for this month. His receptiveness was immediate and it’s really a pleasure to have him as the host of our 19th feature. Breathing and exhaling the best of jazzy, melodic and groovy house textures, he presents a hour of pure class. The selection is beyond fantastic, approaching the sounds of loads of talented producers that have releasing diamonds to nurture us.

While in Europe we already cope with a cold winter, @lysiavani breezes through with warmth, soul and high-karat-gold grooves in O Sótão’s Guest MIX #20. Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, the DJ and musical researcher is one of the up and coming house music selectors in the Brazilian scene. Her sets are filled with nu-jazz tendencies,  afro-brazilian textures and this blend of vintage finesse and contemporary edge. Party vibes all throughout.
