The medical science of today
can fix whatever's not ok

I used to meet her in my dreams
not often, though, not even occasionally,
still, thinking back now, it seems

As I woke up the dream would linger
as if I still could feel the touch of her fingers

In My Dreams

On my way back from a picnic in the woods
I got lost

I was walking through the undergrowth
not yet out of the woods
with burs sticking to my clothes
and sticks poking into my hood

I was draped in the web of a spiders spindle
in my pocket slumbered a toad
daylight had started to dwindle
when I stumbled onto the road

so finally

Relieved I sat down on a stump

The moon was full and the sky was clear

carried on by Rupert Bear, Pudsy Bear, Paddington, 
and Winnie-the-Pooh.

The Republican Party started out as an anti-slavery party and fought for their cause, under Abraham Lincoln, in the American Civil War (1861 – 65), which they won. I wanted to apply a 2 chords progression to a new song, but was constantly reminded of other songs on 2 chords and wound up writing a medley of three pieces.

we went down to the park

we found a bundle of quarks
giving off colored sparks
but being drowned by the dark
we didn't find any snark

on some plonk made from peach
we got drunk on the beach
then we sunk out of reach
of the muffled blue funk speech

we went back to our dome
along a track made by gnomes
a frackin' half finished drome
a trail of half-finished poems

then we got stuck in a loam
but a whack with a brome
opened up the biome
so we hit our shack and were home

The words 'loft' and 'attic' are synonyms in English. 'Loft' is an old Germanic word for 'air', today 'luft' in Danish, German, Norwegian and Swedish. A loft is thus a room that is lofty, i.e. airy, sometimes due to being elevated. An attic is a room with a style reminiscent of that used in Attica in ancient Greece. The room in the picture may well be said to have an attic style.
