Christian Nielsen is a Danish DJ and producer hailing from Copenhagen known for his melodic techno and house music. He began his music career in the early 2010’s, quickly making a name for himself as a talented musician and performer.

With a sound that is both unique and energetic, Nielsen has released music on some of the most respected labels in the electronic scene, such as Diynamic, Ellum and Kompakt.  His tracks are characterised by deep, driving bass-lines, soaring melodies, and intricate percussive rhythms, making them a staple in the sets of many of the world’s top DJs. In addition to his studio  performing at some of the most iconic venues across the globe. He has played at world renowned clubs  such as Watergate, Fabric, Printworks and Pacha for Solomun +1, showcasing his talent and ability to create unforgettable dancefloor moments.

As a Danish artist, Nielsen brings a unique perspective to the global electronic music scene,  infusing his productions with a sense of Scandinavian minimalism and subtle complexity. With a string of successful releases and a dedicated fanbase, Christian Nielsen is undoubtedly a rising star in the world of electronic music. We're stoked to have him down for this edition of our mix series!

OSSIA Presents Oscillate | Mix Series | #009 - Christian Nielsen

Celebrated by birthday with a subathon stream on twitch. Went the full 9hrs I put a max on. Unfortunately my USB ran out of space, but I did get to record the first 5.5hrs. Got to play various genre's and this mix includes tons of my fave artists. Sorry for the rough ending, but as I mentioned, I ran out of space so the recording just stopped. Hope you still enjoy though!

Andrea Cassino is no stranger to the Proton Music limelight. The Italian-born, artist has lit up the label with a score of production material that includes 2017's "Divine", 2020's "Losing Part of Me" and 2021 "Asante" in collaboration with Lio Q. Furthermore, remixes for Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat, GMJ, Michael A and Savvas have shown another side to the Argentinean-based producer's work. Now returning for the first time in over 2 years, the Andrea Cassino remix takes "Us" on a magical journey that is fuelled by a driving rhythmic backdrop and bassline gravitas with its roots firmly in the original. Thickly textured pads add to the dense aural collage and new ethereal phrases emerges alongside familiar phrasing as the striking rhythmic backdrop propels the remix forwards with incredible dancefloor prowess that blossoms in the second half with grace and poise.
