Mountains. We all have to to climb. Sometimes we stumble. sometimes we fall. But the truth is in this life you keep going no matter what. It's either that or fold and it aint gonna happen. This is a new version which I have just recorded for an upcoming album release. It's the first song in nearly 20 years on which I play the drums! It was incredibly difficult to record, because the tempo varies constantly (no click track here!) I'm happy that I have finally arrived at a version of the song which is more or less what I heard in my head when I wrote it (ca. 10 years ago!)

Feedback as always welcome, especially on the arrangement or technical side.

Phil May, the singer of "The Pretty Things", passed away on May 15th, 2020, and we thank you and your Band for inspiring us! R.I.P. Phil May.

"Turn my Head" is for Lawrence and me, representing the spirit of the 60's. Our joint album, "Songs from here and there", which will be released on March 13, is also meant to radiate this spirit.

Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
