Lange Tage, kurze Nächte, Sommer, Sonne, Schweiß und…Disco! Der Juni-Schleichcast kommt von @samerodehh und verwöhnt eure Öhrchen mit schleichend-funky Tunes, bei denen ihr euch die Tanzschuhe quasi automatisch anziehen wollt. Long days, short nights, summer, sun, sweat and...disco! Our June-Schleichcast comes from @samerodehh and spoils your ears with schleichend-funky tunes that will make you want to put on your dancing shoes almost automatically. Or just ditch them, because dancing barefoot is much more fun anyway and the current temperatures leave you almost no other choice. If there is one positive outcome of the pandemic, it is probably the multitude of freshly hatched DJs. Just like our dear Samer, who passed the Corona boredom  turning the knobs on his new controller after moving from Jordan to Frankfurt. We would say, the result is quite fantastic and thank @samerodehh for this sexy mix!

>>Who are you and where are you from?
Well, I'm Samer, and I'm from Jordan, a tiny country in the middle east.

>>When and how did you start your musical journey?
I used to play the guitar and have always been interested in electronic music. When I moved to Frankfurt about 3 years ago, and Covid took over, I decided to buy my first controller and here I am today.

>>What inspired you while creating the set?
For this set specifically, I wanted to share a different side of me which I never shared before. Summer is here, life is coming back to normal, and I felt like dancing, letting go of everything with some disco sounds.

>>What do you particularly like about "slow" music?
"the journey" itself is what I like the most, the idea of being able to listen to every detail, the elements, and the originality in a track makes me feel a certain form of connection to the story behind the track and the artist. Also, dancing slowly makes me feel calm and that helps me stay focused and see things more clearly than dancing to fast music.

>>Which moment of your artist life has had a lasting influence on you?
My first gig for sure, that's when I experienced for the very first time a real connection between me and people that I don't know, only through music, it was the first time to let people ride in my boat.

>>Your perfect cure against a hangover.
Nothing is nicer than a bed, hugging a pillow and a water bottle right next to you. Also, a big plate of salad always makes me feel good after an unhealthy night :D

Nährwerk - Live unterm Dach wurde in Echtzeit im Nährhaft Recording Studio in Luzern aufgenommen.

Unsere Musik entsteht durch den Drang nach innerer Befriedigung.
Deshalb entkoppeln wir uns im Studio von der Aussensicht und gehen in eine Askese.
Dadurch erzeugen wir einen Hunger durch Verzicht auf äussere Anerkennung.
So können wir unsere Musik klarer wahrnehmen und etwas kreieren dass unser Wesen sehr akkurat abbildet. Wir glauben daran dass du uns auch als Menschen mögen wirst wenn dir unsere Musik gefällt.

Auf der Bühne ist es eine andere Situation. Wir ernähren wir uns von eurem Beifall, dem Tanz und der Stimmung, welche durch jeden einzelnen Gast erzeugt wird. Da unser Live Set viele spontane Momente hat, glauben wir dass eure Begeisterung in die Aufführung einfliesst. Wenn du uns live gesehen hast, darfst du den Gig gerne als deinen eigenen bezeichnen, denn du kannst dir sicher sein dass wir mindestens genauso viel Neues mitgenommen haben wie du.

Nährwerk ist unser Beitrag zu einer positiven Evolution des menschlichen Gehirns. Durchaus der Gefahr bewusst nicht verstanden zu werden, treiben wir das Ganze auf die Spitze und verstehen manchmal selbst nicht alles wenn wir Aufnahmen wie diese hören.

“In the Wild (Tombstone Remix)” takes the reflective, open-hearted tone of the original track and transforms it into something bolder — a gritty, cinematic reimagining that walks the line between raw energy and controlled chaos. Where the original might have explored nature and freedom through serenity, this remix roars through the wilderness with pulse and purpose.

Right from the start, the Tombstone Remix establishes a mood of rugged vitality. A darker bassline rumbles beneath crisp, metallic percussion, conjuring images of vast deserts, ghost towns, and the enduring spirit of survival. The rhythm drives forward with swagger — there’s a sense of movement, of pushing against the elements. Yet Archer 23 doesn’t abandon the song’s emotional essence; traces of the original’s melodic DNA remain, like bones beneath new skin.

The production is taut and deliberate. Echoing synths and reverberating drums give the track cinematic depth, while subtle ambient textures maintain a sense of atmosphere. It’s as though Archer 23 has recast the story of In the Wild in a harder, more defiant light — transforming introspection into endurance.

By its close, “In the Wild (Tombstone Remix)” feels like a journey through shadow and dust, ending not in triumph or defeat, but in self-assured calm — the kind that comes from facing the world unflinchingly. It was such a special moment for me to close that stage after having experienced the beauty of this festival the whole weekend before.

Podcasts some artists send are much anticipated and significant for us as we know those people in person, have gone a long way with them, living unbelievable days and nights full of music and conversations and drinks. Those people have entrusted us with the parts of themselves they left in Armenia, while the mixes they make are soundtracks to those particles. @jacobgroening and several other artists were the first to give us the feeling which drives us to create to this day, with the belief that everything we do and are involved in is meaningful and not in vain. A few years have passed since the day I saw myself playing to share my love and passion for music.
Music, as pure vibration, is a powerful healing tool and has healed me so many times. During dark times of sadness and loneliness, music connected me to deeps feelings of joy and gratitude, bringing my soul back to life. I’m forever grateful for all the things that music brought to my life such as unique moments and experiences, lifetime friends, profound connections to humans, myself, and the Universe.

During @mira_kater’s birthday in Berlin last December, I decided that 2020 will be the year where I will start playing and stop postponing my dream.
Orkatz was born that weekend, in a moment of pure bliss listening to all the amazing artists who played for Mira and us at Katerblau, my favorite club in Berlin.

I was fast to buy Traktor, but not so fast on starting to play. Maybe a lack of self-confidence, lack of time also… but my two fairies friends Sonia & Cindy offered me the opportunity to play during an enchanted weekend they organized last weekend. I did not feel ready but I said YES. There was no way I would postpone this again and it was the perfect set up to start. A beautiful house and magical garden by the river, 25 friends who could only give me the best support and love, with no pressure of being perfect or being judged.

The night before, I created my playlist, bought tracks I love, imagined what I wanted to share, opened Traktor, and started exercising.
I finished working on my future first set in the car…
Two mornings after, I was behind the decks and pressed play…
By doing so, I know I am engaging myself into a completely new cycle of my life journey.

I can't thank enough my friend and musical mentor @lucid-paris, a Dj and now music producer that I always believed in and pushed to reveal his talent to the world. Now roles have changed and he is the one teaching me and giving me the courage to start playing.

So enough writing here is my very first set.
Please be kind on the little technical bugs. I am fully into a learning process so it’s definitely not perfect…

A special tribute to my two fairies friends Cindy and Sonia who gave me this amazing opportunity to step out of my cocoon…
