Born and brought up in the eastern subcontinent of India, Nakul Talwar, also known as NAX, was heavily influenced by the euphoric sounds of the Goa trance scene at a young age. This early love for deep and melodic shades of dance music left a lasting mark on his musical preference. His taste and performance style has since evolved to grow closer to the darker and more magnetic dance floor beats found in European techno while still retaining his core deeper sound signature.

Through this juxtaposition NAX brings a unique flavor and ambience to the dance floor that is easy to identify but hard to classify, combining deep, progressive, hypnotic and moody selections within the umbrellas of house and techno.

NAX has performed alongside several industry heavyweights including Bedouin, Âme, Trikk, Ann Clue, Moritz Hofbauer, Brian Cid, Matan Caspi, Nils Hoffmann, GRUM, Simon Doty & Shai T. He currently lives and spins in Chicago, USA and organizes events as part of the Midnight Rush collective which is aimed at showcasing these often underappreciated styles of dance music.
