Straight outta Osaka, Japan, @chi_yu comes with a disturbing and mysterious vibe at quite an early age. She's been producing Drum and Bass for just a year and hitting her 18 y.o. in July. We are so glad and excited to expose such a young and promising talent to the World with her debut official release - Vyior EP.

VYIOR EP is a colorful palette of 4 tunes inspired by many, yet the whole EP demonstrates how creative and heavy one might be.

SHAPESHIFTER was definitely a good choice to start with, setting the mood and theme for the whole project.

We don't know exactly how to describe RIOT FIELDS (WTaF?), but we think Maestro Mefjus and the Highest Emperor will be proud of CHASM.

ASPHALT as the last tune might represent a kind but honest goodbye to this almost a year-lasting project and cooperation between us as a label and Chiyu as the new yet undiscovered artist on the other side of the Planet Earth during such turbulent times. It's the imprint of this story as well…

To end the year in style, The Clamps is delivering a new 6 tracks EP on Kosenprod.
Starting with the title track "All For Us", he brings us in a dark and dystopian world, while "After The Sun" takes us in an emotionnal solar storm.
Then, he turns down a bit the BPM on “Now Can’t You See”, in collaboration with brand new project Jaḍāna, in a fusion with breakbeat jungle and blues jazz.
"Echo Of Time" continues in a modern and cold atmosphere, to be warmed by "Heart Of Tomorrow", which pushes us in a bass deflagration teinted of Rave vibes.
To finish, he closes the Ep with "My Life" in featuring LiL_V1sion where Techno meets Drum & Bass artifacts.

BURR OAK mark a monolithic moment in their sonic journey with the release of their debut album, SOMEWHERE WE BELONG, which stands as the crown jewel of the two member’s careers as solo artists and as a duo alike. Packed with a mammoth 18 tracks that span the full breadth of the Neurofunk genre, SOMEWHERE WE BELONG sees BURR OAK deliver a definitive work set to cement itself well within the history of the genre.

BURR OAK’s own story is mirrored in the stories of their twin cowboy personas, Scruggs and Sonny Jim, whose escapades are expressed throughout the album’s tracklist and the tales that accompany it. Much like these two inseparable wanderers, BURR OAK’s two members, Niko and Julien, began their careers as solo artists before joining together to embark on their shared quest as BURR OAK. Longtime fans of Neurofunk will recognize each by their many other monikers. Niko has produced and performed variously as a member of the French Drum & Bass trio Signs, as half of the duo Cecil Hotel, and under his solo alias Opsen throughout his long career devoted to the pursuit of Drum & Bass’ most technical edge. By contrast, Julien’s journey under his solo alias The Clamps has seen him champion both cinematic soundscapes and the genre’s most extreme fringes, merging beauty and brutality within his music in equal measure. 
If this wasn’t a colorful palette of a career enough, they are also running another project with the also Toulouse based SKS – “Forum” which is also a heavyweight drum and bass project with a jungle/rave/oldschool twist. And to add a cherry on the top Julien runs Third Colony with Yan, an extravagant IDM/downtempo project.

As BURR OAK, these two prolific artists intertwine their sounds in an inexorable musical lattice, presenting a unified sonic profile that is more than the sum of its parts. This stylistic synergy thrives amidst SOMEWHERE WE BELONG, which details the story of BURR OAK both in fiction and as the producers they are today. The album’s title speaks to this, not only for the duo’s cowboy characters but for Niko & Julien as well. Beneath the branches of the BURR OAK, these titans of Neurofunk have truly found somewhere they belong.

Few officers, however our hack might stick out on the radar with bloodcell signature embeded firmware. As we landed we immediatelly switched on the unison hack. 5 Minutes in, Jon's sense of smell slowly unclicks the katana's sheath, I looked at Mick, his new pair of eyes worked it out too.
-"This is a setup." he said. -"this bar is last line of defense"...
-"Well then, everyone in this bar shall die. Lets grab a drink first and play along."

CURRENT VALUE returns to OTHERCIDE RECORDS for the release of his FAR LAYER EP, which displays the furthest expanses of his sonic realm in true devotion to its title. With his past on OTHERCIDE RECORDS marked by 2016’s Rethink EP, CURRENT VALUE’s recent efforts have seen releases on labels such as Blackout, Invisible, & Methlab Recordings. Now returning to OTHERCIDE RECORDS, CURRENT VALUE debuts a four track EP that carries his aberrantly innovative sound further onwards to new boundaries.  DISPELLING FEAR opens the EP with reverent string swells that soar alongside a ethereal vocal before diving at full force into the track’s torrential drumbeat. Within, they are twisted and warped by the volatile harmonic environment within into surging basslines and oscillating highs in equal measure. The titular FAR LAYER immediately discards with any semblance of convention, opting instead to create a an idyllic sonic landscape that hangs effortlessly in the air. Driven by a delicate piano arpeggio, the track swells calmly to a lush crescendo before fading into nothingness with similar grace. Following such a melodic interlude, FERROMAGNETIC provides harsh metallic textures which create an exercise in contrast, wrapped tightly around the track’s pulverizing drums for a devastating mechanical fusion. The EP then closes with PHOTOELECTRIC, which doubles down on the distortion of its predecessor with its dissonant bell tones and shredded bassline ending the look into CURRENT VALUE’s FAR LAYER with a decisive tone.  FAR LAYER thus explores a diverse range of sonic environments, from its most beautiful melodics to its most visceral basslines all of which are unified by the technical precision and otherworldly tones of CURRENT VALUE as they transmit via OTHERCIDE RECORDS.

Beneath beams of vibrant light shambled a mass of flesh and bone, revenant bodies moving steadily to the sonic reverberations that emanated from the stage before them. Their number grew as they grooved to the few sounds that reached their decaying ears, with the occasional thunderous hit of low frequency energy felling some to the floor. For all that they had seen, for all the horrors that they had undergone in their transformation into their new forms, the creatures gathered under a sense of duty, a pilgrimage, a return to once joyous ground even within the cruel fate that had been bestowed upon them.

Before it all, this had been a festive place, one of exuberant joy where the troubles of the world could be forgotten amongst the masses that gathered in shared sonic experience. There amidst that crowd, one ceased to be one and instead became many, a part of a larger whole that moved in synchronicity to the music before them. Though now held under different circumstances and driven by different sounds, this same energy yet remained as an echo in the gathering creature’s memories, driving them onwards in their journey to reclaim what they once had. As more and more of their kin gathered, this memory propagated itself amongst the once weary crowd, imbuing their bodies with an energy not seen since their days within life. Driven by this energy, the gathered horde moved once again with vigor and resolve, each amplifying the other as a part of their larger whole. Unified once more by their memories of joy, the horde’s fervor let loose into a frenzied swirl. Bodies ricocheted from one another and careened through the air, as each came once again to live without care. All who were there knew joy as they felt it, hurtling through the horde that had turned into a MOSH PIT.

REDPILL stokes the frenzy of the EATBRAIN horde with his latest MOSH PIT EP on the label, which additionally features fellow EATBRAIN alumni MAGNETUDE within its four track span. Returning to the label with his uniquely dual combination of shimmering synths and relentlessly distorted basslines, REDPILL comes ready to rock on the MOSH PIT EP with the unbridled energy of a riotous crowd.
