Others to the Front releases HoO Vol.2, a second compilation celebrating the third anniversary of the House of Others podcast. 120 mixes, curated by @materia_hache, that highlight House as a feeling rather than a genre, reaffirming our commitment to building a radical House community. Because we are still here, queer, black, brown, trans, dissident, undesirable, noisy, we are here and we are dancing, loudly. Because House is ours. Because it always was. And it will continue to sound, as proof of our collective existence.

A new sonic journey starts, one of 15 tracks that expand the frontiers of House as a space of resistance and shared ritual. Sounds from multiple geographies and bodies, a constellation of producers who claim this music as a territory of otherness, as a vital pulsation, as a political manifesto that vibrates in every beat. It does not ask for permission. It does not seek likes. It does not want to be a trend. It is made for the creatures of the night, for those who live on the margins, for those who know that dancing is also fighting. That making music from the otherness is not a luxury, it is a necessity.

In this second release, mastered by @lanasaints, the EP becomes an intimate and global conversation: Get ready to immerse yourself in scars turned into underground House for 1 hour, 23 minutes and 50 seconds. They are beats of worlds that do not yet exist. They are a rabid, bright and noisy embrace. Because we will not be erased. Because we create future in every track. Guava returns to Faux Poly as the first artist to release a second EP on the label. Shifting gears into a faster, Techno-focused territory all whilst breaking up the EP with his immersive signature oscillating Dub-Techno-esque atmospherics. This new record is a departure from Afterglow, further embracing light and dark moods with a hypnotic intensity throughout that feels both urgent yet deeply considered.

This release opens a new chapter for Guava, as he embraces the weight and velocity of the dancefloor without sacrificing his signature playfulness. The result is a dynamic, high-energy follow-up that solidifies his evolving sound making ’All Out’ the perfect next step for both the artist and the label.

"This record was written in a flow state. For me, it was the most enjoyable EP I’ve made, and I think you can hear that in the music. It came about due to a slight shift in mindset regarding the creative process. I started by making an Ableton template as a way to limit my options. I spent a couple of days trying to nail a sound - referencing and experimenting with different instruments. I would then set a timer and “mess up” what I had created. The deal was that I could do anything I wanted.

This approach was a game-changer for me because it created a cohesive sound across all the tracks. A lot of my process was inspired by one of my heroes, Alexander Rodchenko, a photographer and graphic artist from the Soviet Union. What fascinated me most was the limitations he worked with - he didn’t have access to the fancy digital tools we use today. There was something about that constraint that I envied, and I wanted to bring a similar sense of restriction into my own creative process."

Beraber returns to United Identities with Gentle Actions, setting the tone for long summer evenings and sun-soaked days. The Amsterdam based producer and DJ organically blends Chicago’s classically-schooled keys and machine backdrops with subtle, atmospheric textures.

This long-awaited record by Beraber (Barış Akardere) is a deeply personal collection of music, encapsulating a period of creative and personal growth. Rather than a concept record, it serves as a document of the past years, bundling some of most cherished productions into a cohesive and heartfelt gift to the audience. This EP marks the first time the producer has used his own vocals in his productions, next to vocal contributions from Barcelona-based artist Ivy Barkakati, whose lyrics perfectly resonate with the journey of the EP.

Gentle Actions opens with Between Us, a calm builder, gracefully layered with meandering pads. Distant Language picks us up with its dubbed-out groove, guiding our feet on a journey through melodic landscapes. It flows into Responsibility, an introspective track with a powerful message about turning dreams into reality, before continuing with Lost in Loops, a loose and soulful house cut featuring his own vocals. The journey ends with the more upbeat, instrumental Good Company, topped off with a deep, nocturnal remix by Zopelar.

Written and produced entirely in his Amsterdam studio — housed in the same building that once held De School — Beraber continues to rely on a deeply analog and outboard gear-heavy approach. The result is a record that stays true to his soulful and introspective signature, mirroring the sonic identity of his acclaimed radio show, Gentle Actions on Amsterdam’s online radio station RRFM.

We are excited to announce the launch of our label with the release of OBERHAUM01, a dynamic Various Artists EP spotlighting producers who have previously featured on our radio. This release showcases three rhythm-driven tracks, each offering a distinctive sonic identity while sharing a common focus on depth and rhythm.

First up is DJ OSX with “Shutting Capes”—a track built on rhythmic percussion and a rolling low end. As it builds, a pad drifts in, adding a layer of emotion and space without losing the drive.

Next, Davut Yildiz delivers “Trigger Response”, blending Middle Eastern-inspired melodies with deep breakbeats and high-pitched, rhythmic, spacey elements to create a sense of expansive depth.

Closing the release, Uksimo presents “Informal”, a minimalist four-to-the-floor groove. With crisp percussion and intricately layered modular synths, the track offers a clean and focused atmosphere.

They bounced and floated softly in the breeze before crashing down with pace upon the shore. A myriad of colours - radiant blues and pinks and orange - the beach balls were the bubble and buzz of the summer on the resort.

This was a tropical climate - the sort made for sipping long cool drinks and lounging upon benches as the world whizzed past in the distance.

Far out at sea she could see a jet ski whizzing atop the water, she wondered who might the rider be, a meek dot against the outback of dense blue ocean.

It was summertime.

Crystaline Reality gets us feeling all sun kissed with a fun collection of tracks on a joint release between DANCEMPORIUM and Tartelet Records.

The views from the aeroplane were hard to believe, the scale of the deep blue as it disappeared into the great beyond was staggering. The endless abyss of the limitless sky.

Clouds were sparse yet every time he caught a glimpse of one he’d try to create a mental image or a sense of perspective as to what they were, floating against the backdrop of the opal sky.

He imagined a great dragon, a frightening beast roaring through the sky with a mighty myriad of colours cascading from its magnificent wings.

It was all magic up here.
